After tumults of waiting, Priyanka and Nick finally shared heavenly pictures from their Christian and Hindu wedding. For her Christian wedding, Priyanka donned a one-of-a-kind apparel from Ralph Lauren and for her Hindu wedding, PeeCee went all glittery and looked gorgeous in an all-red avatar by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. After getting the first-ever glimpse of the newly-wed Priyanka and Nick, the couple yesterday (December 03, 2018), left their wedding paradise in Jodhpur and left for Delhi. The couple is hosting a big fat wedding reception today (December 04, 2018) for the big shots belonging to the business, politics and fashion world. Taj Palace hotel in New Delhi will see an amalgamation of all the big shots in the town for Nickyanka's reception. This is the first time that Priyanka and Nick will address the media as a married couple.
A source too had cited sometime back with People.com that Nick is obsessed with Priyanka. It shared, “Nick loves dating older women, and if anything, it makes Priyanka even more attractive to him. Nick has been obsessed with Priyanka since they started dating. He obviously thinks she’s beautiful, but he’s also drawn to her intelligence. Do you know, Priyanka’s mehendi and sangeet venue was changed from the Mehrangarh Fort to the majestic Umaid Bhawan at the last moment? As per a Times of India report, “The couple requested for police protection from Umaid Bhawan to Mehrangarh Fort. Despite having hired a private security agency, they wanted the local police force's help as well. However, due to the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan, the Jodhpur police has refused to provide them protection. So now, all the functions will take place at the Umaid Bhawan.”
In an interview earlier, Nick shared how love blossomed between the two and had stated, “We met through a friend. We got connected first over text and we started talking for a while. It was about six months before we met up in person. We actually attended the MET Gala, a few years ago together and had a great time. We were just friends and our lives were taking us to different places”.
Few days prior to his wedding, the Anywhere star was all praises for his Mrs Jonas! Speaking about his camaraderie with Priyanka, Nick stated in an interview with USA Today, “You have to be honest with your other half. That’s where the beauty of a real relationship is, being able to be your authentic self. I have that in my life now.” He further stated, “It’s really about trying to keep as much time as you can for yourselves. Nick had always stated in interviews that he and PeeCee had connected over their love for family and faith. He had shared, “It’s been really beautiful. Really nice. That’s the most important thing in my life, maintaining a close-knit circle of friends, family and loved ones.” When asked earlier if Nick was getting into the ‘groomzilla’ mode, he replied by saying, “I don't think so, I hope not.”
