Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a diva, who never fails to impress us with her achievements and philanthropic activities. The actress is busy with her Hollywood projects and spends most of her time in New York. She often shuffles between Bollywood and Hollywood for her work commitments and is well-known for fulfilling her duties with utmost dedication. The actress has worked hard to make an identity of her own, and yet she is being addressed with her husband, Nick Jonas' name.
For the unversed, after a roka ceremony in August 2018, Priyanka Chopra had announced the news of getting married to the International sensation, Nick Jonas. She had added ‘Jonas’ to her name after her wedding with Nick on December 1-2, 2018, at Umaid Bhawan Palace as per both Christian and Hindu rituals.

A few moments back, Priyanka took to her IG handle and shared screenshots of an article published by a leading publication, Daily Mail. The article had addressed the global icon, Priyanka Chopra, who was promoting her upcoming film, The Matrix Resurrections, in New York, as "the wife of Nick Jonas." This made the actress furious and sharing the screenshots, atop it, she wrote:
"Very interesting that I am promoting one of the most iconic film franchises of all time and I am still referenced as 'the wife of...," and added, "Please explain how this still happens to women? Should I add my IMDb link to my bio?"
Priyanka has been promoting her upcoming film this entire week and has spoken about it as well as her husband, Nick Jonas, on several platforms. On the 100th episode of the show, Red Table Talk, Priyanka had revealed that Nick is a fan of the film franchise. She had also added that Nick had excitedly bragged to his fans that she is a part of the film. She had said:
"He's definitely a fan of The Matrix and I think he was very excited when I became a part of the movie. He may or may not have been very excitedly bragging, telling a few of his fans that I was part of the next one. Yeah."

In an interview with the People Magazine, Priyanka Chopra had opened up about how despite growing up dreaming about marriage and being a bride, she had given up on it in her 20s. Stating that she wasn't sure what relationship meant, she had said:
“I loved the idea of being married, I was fascinated with the idea of being a bride when I was a child without realising what it really meant. But when I got in my 20s, I said I have got things to do, I didn’t know what it would have meant. When you find the right person, everything is so comfortable and not everything is the effort I thought it would be. For a really long time, I was like, I don’t know. Being married was such an alien thought. But [now] I am so comfortable in it.”
In a throwback interview, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had spilt beans on her relationship with her husband, Nick Jonas. She had said:
"Truly this is what worked for me, he has to be someone who respects you. By that, I don't mean he makes coffee for you, not that. But someone who respects the hard work you put into your life. Who respects that if his work is important, so is yours. Or if he makes choices that are important to him, so is your opinion. That's respect, and that's incredible to have. Then everything is so easy because you give each other credit for your intelligence, you give each other the benefit of the doubt because you trust each other. There's so much that comes out of that. I think don't settle for less than that."
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be seen in the film, The Matrix Resurrections.
