In the year 2018, the couple left the entire world jealous when they were spotted attending multiple events together. From watching Beauty and the Beast live in Los Angeles to a fun-filled boat ride with their best friends, somewhere they felt the sparks of love. And in July 2018, Nick popped up the question in the most romantic way and that was the start of their beautiful affair.
While we are still mesmerised with their December wedding last year, the couple continues to treat us with their adorable PDA. On May 26, 2019, Nick took to his Instagram handle and shared a beautiful picture with Priyanka. He captioned it as, "One year ago today I went to go see Beauty and the Beast at the Hollywood bowl with a group of friends. One of those friends was the woman that would become my best friend, my confidant, my muse, my beautiful wife. I am so grateful for our journey together so far. Coming back to Priyanka and Nick's magical love story, in an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Priyanka had revealed how she wanted to take up Nick Jonas name. She had said, “I always wanted to add his name to mine because I feel, like, you know, we’re becoming a family and I’m a little traditional and old school like that. In the same chat show, Priyanka had also shared that she wanted to get married on an island, “I wanted to get married on some private Island away from everything and we were like really stressed out about it. We thought Seychelles, Maldives, Mauritius or whatever. And nothing was working out”. She further added, “The conversation took place when they were in Mumbai, and Nick said, ‘Why aren’t we doing this in India? Shouldn’t I be taking my bride from her home?’”. Well, that’s how the two found their dream location, looking at the wedding photo, she gushed, “He looked like a prince. He rocked that turban.”
We still remember how in an interview with Teen Vogue, Nick had revealed that he had proposed Priyanka just after their three dates. The singer made headlines when he had shut down a Tiffany & Co store in London to pick out the perfect ring and then whisked her off to Crete for her birthday. He had explained how he had waited until midnight to propose to her so that their engagement anniversary doesn’t collide with her birthday celebrations.
In an interview with Bustle, the 26-year-old singing sensation, Nick had shared an interesting detail and the favourite part about his wedding with Priyanka. He had stated, “Priyanka and I were walking to the dinner and we looked at each other and just had a moment realising it was real. It was really happening.
