Kangana Ranaut's controversial reality show, Lock Upp has become the talk of the town for the high voltage drama portrayed by the contestants in it. From ugly fights to the revelation of dark secrets, the contestants keep the viewers enjoying every moment of the show. And, the contestant, who has been grabbing eyeballs ever since the show started is model-actress, Poonam Pandey. In the recent episode, she got emotional after remembering her breakup with her estranged husband, Sam Bombay.
For the unversed, Poonam Pandey had got engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Sam Bombay, in July 2020. And it was in September 2020 when the duo had tied the knot. However, sadly, within just a few days of their wedding, Poonam had filed a complaint against her husband, Sam, for molesting her while they were honeymooning in Goa.

In the recent episode of Lock Upp, Television actress, Ankita Lokhande, graced the show as a special guest and she talked about pure love and bond. She also showed the contestants, Anjali Arora and Munawar Faruqui's brewing friendship through a special video. After Ankita left, Poonam Pandey got really emotional and started crying. When Anjali asked her the reason, Poonam shared that she got reminded of her relationship with her estranged husband, Sam Bombay. Crying inconsolably, Poonam shared:
"Maine bahut try kiya yaar chaar saal but nahi sambhalna yaar bahut try kiya maine. Meri bhi shaadi tikk gayi hoti yaar. I don't think I will ever get anything in life. Akeli Marungi Main."
Then, Anjali asked Poonam to avoid negative thinking and tried to console her. To which, Poonam told her that she gets hurt when people slut-shame her. Poonam referred to the comments made by Payal against her when she had kept abusing her. Poonam, who has been warned in the past to not abuse people, had kept abusing Payal on her parents and Payal had reacted:
"Do he cheezein aati hai tujhe kapde utarna aur gaali dena."

Well, this is not the first time, Poonam Pandey has opened up about her troubled marriage with Sam Bombay. Earlier, in one of the previous episodes, during her conversation with Karanvir Bohra and Payal Rohatgi, Poonam had shared some shocking and painful insights about Sam Bombay. From revealing that her estranged husband, Sam Bombay, used to beat her, she wasn't allowed to carry a phone, and she was restricted from going to the terrace to spend some time with herself to Sam forcing her to be with him most of the time, Poonam had admitted that she dislikes him as of now. She had stated:
"Yes, I did and I don't hate him right now, I just don't like him, I dislike him. Nobody wants something like this to happen to them. Who likes to get beaten up. If I am in one room, I am not allowed to be in that room, he would ask me why are you in that room. He would force me to be with him in the room he wanted. When I used to tell him that I wanted some time with myself and fresh air and wanted to go on the terrace, I wasn't allowed. I was not allowed to take my phone anywhere, and was not allowed to touch my phone in my own house."
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Poonam's husband, Sam Bombay had reacted to the allegations levelled by her and had explained his side of the story. Sam had revealed that the accusations levied on him by his wife, Poonam are unnecessary and had added that it was him, who was abused throughout the relationship. Talking about the same, he had said:
"Whatever Poonam is saying, it's sad, unnecessary and useless. She makes news out of nothing because she loves to be in the news. I have been abused throughout my relationship. But 90 per cent of my relationship, she bombed me with love; I have never felt so loved in my life. So to say that I was in an abusive relationship, I disregard that."
