Yes, we are talking about Viraasat actress, Pooja Batra, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with Tiger Zinda Hai actor Nawab Shah. Pooja got famous for her role in Anil Kapoor's film, Virasat in the '90s and she had made every heart flutter with her gorgeous look. She is also a winner of Miss Femina India Internation in the year 1993. A couple of months ago, she had made headlines when she announced her love affair with Nawab. But who would have known that they would take the plunge so soon?
Recently, a SpotboyE report confirmed that the couple had exchanged the wedding vows. And while no official statement has been given till now, Nawab left the entire world awestruck when he shared an after married video with Pooja on his Instagram handle. He captioned it as, "A story you can make a movie on". In the video, we can see Pooja's hand adorned with traditional red choodha. Take a look at it below:
Today, on July 11, 2019, Nawab shared another picture with Pooja and it seems like they are enjoying their mini honeymoon. In the picture, we spotted the two posing for the lens while enjoying sea, sand and sun. Along with the picture, he wrote, "Sea Sun Sand and a scorpion." Check it out below:
For those who don't know, Pooja had left her amazing acting career in Bollywood for the love of an NRI orthopedic surgeon, Dr Sonu S. Ahluwalia. But after eleven years of happily ever, the two got divorced due to unreconcilable issues. In an interview, she had shared the reason behind her broken marriage, and had stated, "I've lived through the most gruelling, lonely and difficult phase of my life! All the negative energies from my eight-year marriage and divorce burst out on the sets like a pressure cooker. The upheavals took a toll but my ambition to make a name for myself in this part of the world kept me going." After getting divorced, the actress had given love another try and that's when she found love in Norwegian-born, Christian Middelthon. In a 2016 interview, she had talked about her new-found love, and had shared, "Yes! I have a European boyfriend… If you’re asking if marriage is on my mind, it is not, simply because I am independent. I have my business to sustain. Financially, I am self-sufficient and would love to not be married as of now." But things never reached the wedding cards and their relationship ended.
