Former Miss India, Pooja Batra, who has worked in some major films such as Viraasat, Haseena Maan Jayegi and Nayak: The Real Hero tied the knot with her boyfriend and Tiger Zinda Hai actor, Nawab Shah in a hush-hush ceremony. Pooja and Nawab took the wedding vows in a very secretive ceremony in Delhi where only their family members were present, and the customs took place according to the Arya Samaj wedding.
No one knew that the couple was all set to tie the knot and even after their wedding no one had a clue about it until a day when Nawab had shared a Boomerang video wherein the lady was seen flaunting her striking red chooda. Soon after that speculations and conjecture about their wedding started floating on the internet and finally in a Bombay Times interview recently the actress confirmed their wedding. On July 16, 2019, Pooja took to her official Instagram handle and shared an unseen picture, which looks from their pre-wedding function, probably engagement. Thanking all their well-wishers and fans, Pooja wrote, “Thank you for all your good wishes & Blessings.” Yesterday, on July 15, 2019, Pooja had taken to her Instagram and had shared a lovely picture with her darling mother, Neelam Batra, captioning that as, “With My Wonder Woman. Lately, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Pooja had confirmed her wedding with Nawab and had stated, “Nawab and I exchanged vows in Delhi, with only our families in attendance. Our loved ones kept asking us why we were delaying it (the marriage). I was simply going with the flow, but then I realised that he is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and there is no point in delaying it any further. So, here we are. Revealing when the two had started seeing each other and when the clicked happened between the two, Pooja was quoted as saying, “We strongly connected after we were reintroduced by a common friend in February this year. I guess we reconnected at the right time in our life. We were in the same space emotionally and hit it off instantly. We share emotional and intellectual compatibility, and we don’t have to explain too much to each other. I like the fact that he is a family person.”
Do you know how their proposal was like? Well, the actress herself had revealed, “He was ready to propose to me soon after we met. Talking about the initial dating days and how beautiful it was, the Viraasat actress had commented, "During the initial days of our relationship, there was this one time when he came to pick me up at the airport, and according to him, he wanted to pop the question right then.
