Marriage is a heavenly space. While some are totally not into it, there are others, who love being tied in the holy bliss of wedlock. It is such a journey wherein everyone has their own experiences. Right from Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum to now in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, she has been impressing us with her commendable acting talent.
For the uninitiated ones, Pooja is a happily married woman since February 28, 2017, when she had taken the wedding vows with her prince charming, Sandeep Sejwal, who happens to be a national level swimmer. Pooja has been one actress who swayed us right from her wedding news to her wedding trousseau and now her, 'happily ever after' journey with the love of her life, Sandeep. In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Pooja Banerjee opened up about living her happily ever after with Sandeep Sejwal. The actress was quoted as saying, “Sandeep and I have been good friends since our college days and gelled well over our passion for swimming. We have grown as individuals and started knowing each other more after our marriage. We have become used to each other’s schedules because he gets up early [while I shoot till late].”
She further added, “We both have understood each other very well. There is no compulsion that I have to take care of him. When there is no compulsion, it is always a better and more beautiful relationship. Sandeep himself is a very responsible person and takes care of the basic household chores, which make it a beautiful place to coexist. I don’t have to run behind him and take care of him. When she was further probed to tell about her family planning with Sandeep, she revealed, “We haven’t decided anything as of now. We are in a very good space and want to learn more about each other every day. A new addition to the family is a good thing but we don’t see having a child immediately. I feel I’m too young to have kids right now. This is the age for us to explore and I want to utilise every ounce of my energy in working and experimenting.”
Earlier, during her wedding, Pooja Banerjee had exclusively talked to us and had shared, “In my friend’s group, I’m the last one to get married. All my friends have got married. And I have seen during their weddings that they used to be so hassled. They used to be busy shopping with their in-laws, family and friends. And then, they are always so stressed out and I feel that they had missed out on the planning. Talking about how she had kept herself calm and composed before her wedding, Pooja had remarked, “I am cooking every day. That takes a good amount of focus actually. Yesterday I cooked daal makhni and palak paneer. Then today I made butter chicken. I am spending good amount of time in cooking. So, in the morning I’m busy cooking in the kitchen and then I complete little bit of works or I go out to meet my friends or else I take my parents out.”
