The famous jodi of televisions’ hit serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Parth Smathaan and Erica Jennifer Fernandes are living up to their audience’s expectations by the portrayal of Anurag and Prerna. They have also got under the limelight due to their breakup and patchup rumours. Both Erica and Parth have always maintained their stand as great friends and have never paid any heed to their dating rumours. After a series of rumours of either their breakup and patchup, Diwali 2019 came up with a beautiful surprise for all AnuPre (as fans lovingly refer them) fans. Parth and Erica had enjoyed Diwali with their friends from the sets of their show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and the two had looked gorgeous while posing with each other.
In an interview with The Times of India, Parth Samthaan had cleared the air surrounding his dating rumours with Erica Jennifer Fernandes. He revealed that he and Erica are great friends and there was never anything more than that. He refuted all the dating rumours and claimed them as baseless. He further revealed that they share a great camaraderie and enjoy a lot during shoots. He further said that he shares an awesome on-screen as well as off-screen friendship with Erica. He also stated that since Erica is a lively person, they spend their time on the sets having a lot of fun, hanging out and even partying together.
The Yeh Hai Aashiqui actor further revealed an unknown trait of Erica. He mentioned that Erica is a very sensitive person, who gets offended very easily. Parth revealed that he is a prankster and always crack jokes which doesn’t go down too well with Erica who gets offended easily. He further revealed that Erica is a very reserved person and he ends up apologising to her every time she gets upset with his jokes! Their breakup rumours had surfaced on the internet when at Parth’s housewarming party, all his friends from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 were present excluding Erica. A picture posted by Parth had raised many eyebrows as his leading lady, Erica was nowhere to be seen. Rumour mills had started churning the reports that all is not well between the two since she was missing from the housewarming party. With almost the entire crew present at the party, we were astonished to see Erica missing from the picture.
Sometime back, in an interview with The Times of India, Parth Samthaan had called the reports of his bitterness with Erica just ‘rumours’ and had clarified that they are actually good friends. Parth had stated, “We are good friends and friendly even today. We are in a good space. We work together daily on our TV serial and things are smooth between us. At times, there are some arguments or differences of opinions at work, but this is normal. In fact, recently, the cast came over to my new house and we all chilled together.
