The entire experience of embracing motherhood is the most beautiful feeling in a woman’s life and being able to nurture a life inside you is the most powerful gift from God. The first time when your doctor makes you hear the heartbeat of your little one, the pregnancy glow on your face, the family and your husband pampering you every second is what summarizes a journey of a woman towards motherhood. And former Bigg Boss contestant, Dimpy Ganguly had embarked on this journey for the second time and relishing every moment of it. It was in 2010 when Dimpy Ganguly came into limelight when in Rahul Dulhaniya le Jayenge, Rahul Mahajan, son of former Union Cabinet Minister, Pramod Mahajan, had lost his heart to this beautiful Bengali girl. Rahul had walked up to Dimpy and had garlanded him as his wife, and everyone hoped for a happily married life for the couple. But in 2014, Dimpy had accused her now ex-husband, Rahul for physical abuse and domestic violence. Love knocked on the door of Dimpy’s heart for the second time with her childhood friend and a Dubai-based businessman, Rohit Roy.
In 2015, Dimpy Ganguly and Rohit Roy had embarked on their journey of ‘happily ever after’ and to make their journey even more special, they were blessed with a baby girl in 2016, whom they named Reanna Roy. And now, to complete their family, Rohit and Dimpy are all set to welcome their second child soon and their excitement level knows no bound. A few hours back, Dimpy gave us a glimpse of her ‘outfit of the night’ for a date with her hubby, Rohit. Dimpy looked stunning in a black dress, which she had paired with black heels and her hair tied in a ponytail. Complementing his pregnant wife, Rohit looked dapper in a white shirt, beige pants and a black coat. On November 30, 2019, Dimpy Ganguly had taken to her Instagram to give her fans the ‘good news’ and had shared first pictures of her flaunting her baby bump from her second pregnancy. Along with the pictures, Dimpy had written, "Being a mother has been one of my biggest achievements and I wear it like a badge because I take my job very seriously. I am giving a shape to the future generation, and I feel responsible for it. My role as a nurturer has paid me back in ways I couldn't even imagine. Destiny has decided to bless me yet again and I couldn't have been more happier."
Describing how the first trimester of her second pregnancy came with its own struggles and has been a difficult one for her, Dimpy Ganguly had continued, "The beginning of this pregnancy came along with various hurdles; relocation with a child, while the husband had to be away most of the time because of more responsibilities at work, hunting for a house, a nursery, a school, an ob-gyn a pediatrician, a hospital all in the first trimester with nausea like never before! But as they say fortune favors the brave, we have been fortunate enough to finally get all that we wanted because we dared to dream and only one word comes to mind - gratitude. Thankful for all the good that touch us everyday! Hope we all can see and admire all that's truly good and happy in our lives instead of focusing on what's not. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!" When Reanna Roy was born, Dimpy Ganguly had taken to Instagram and had posted a few dreamy pictures from her maternity photoshoot, captured by none other than her hubby, Rohit Roy. She had written, “Our baby girl Reanna decided to come to us early with 100000 hugs 2000000 kisses and million cuddles waiting for her on 20th of June early morning..lighting our world up like eternal Christmas! I would like to thank all my friends and family for being with us through this journey and God Almighty for blessing us and praying that He guides me on this new journey of parenthood every step of the way! When in June 20, 2019, Reanna Roy had turned 3, her doting parents, Dimpy Ganguly and Rohit Roy had posted heartfelt wishes for their little pixie. Posting a picture of Reanna, Dimpy had penned a heartfelt letter for her baby daughter, which could be read as “My little one... everyday, every single time I lay eyes on you I wonder how someone so little can inspire so much in me to always push myself, to always be a better version of myself, to always think beyond myself.. even in the face of the worst adversities, you bring back my faith on what I started off as calling my one true north. And then I look at myself and can't help but feel proud of how much I have evolved. You coming into my life has made me so much more than I used to be; so much more empathetic, so much more kind, so much more tolerant. Often I'm called naive and foolish for believing in the goodness of this world... but when I look at you and see how everyday inspite of everything you pick up good values, nobility and sense and insist that we adults practice what we preach...”
Dimply Ganguly’s letter could be further read as “I am bound to believe that if we are bringing up little people like you the right way and not the practical/convenient way, this world is bound to be a happy safe and good place to live in. Thank you my darling for being so so so so resilient to all my highs and lows (and god knows I have them!). For being so trusting of all that I say. For always giving me a hug when this over-emotional mommy of yours is in tears. For always being my constant companion (I’m going to be such a mess when you start school). You haven't failed to amaze me a single day in the last 3 years and I hope that as you go along with your life you keep sprinkling that magic dust of yours wherever you go!
