Parineeti Chopra has often talked about her Mimi didi (as her family affectionately calls Priyanka Chopra Jonas) and had said that PeeCee is an inspiration to her. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her cousin Parineeti Chopra share a great bond of friendship and are quite close to each other. In an interview with Puja Talwar, the Ishaqzaade actress talked about the best advice she got from her sister, Priyanka and said
“The best advice that I got, was actually from my sister. She always says that you have the privilege of people’s expectations, if people didn’t have expectations from you, you would have been really depressed. So whenever you are in a film, they will expect you do something special, that’s an amazing privilege but also a huge responsibility, so always give them something.”
Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, Parineeti had revealed that she always knew that Priyanka's relationship will reach the marriage cards. She had shared:
"Nick came to India in June and we all went to Goa together. Nick, me, Mimi didi, her best friend. There were five of us. When I was there with him, there were times when the two of us were together. The way he used to talk about her. I used to keep looking at him and keep smiling that he's a guy in love. But when he was not there, I used to go to Mimi didi and tell her that he is amazing."

On April 26, 2019, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had been joined in by Parineeti Chopra in India, and the two had boasted their sisterly love on social media. Parineeti had shared a cutesy pic with Priyanka along with an 'oh-so-cute' dog. She had captioned the picture as:
"Meet #BaileyChopra! And like in any other Punjabi family — I (his aunt) named him!! Hahaha @priyankachopra @siddharthchopra89."
At Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ roka ceremony held on August 18, 2018, Parineeti Chopra had shared a beautiful picture, with her Mimi didi. The same was captioned as:
“Today I witnessed the magic and a fairytale ... When we were kids, mimi didi and I used to play “ghar ghar”. We would pretend to be shy brides, have imaginary children, and serve tea to our husbands! Cheesy, but its because we always believed in the magic of love and hoped we would both find that perfect man for us one day!! Today there was no pretending. I cant think of a more a perfect man for her. Like I said this morning, there are two ways of judging a human being. One - travel with them, and two, eat with them. Nick, I have done both with you. On the work front, Parineeti Chopra will be next seen judging the reality show, Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan, along with Mithun Chakraborty and Karan Johar.
