Paras Chhabra is one of the most popular faces in the telly world. The actor enjoys a massive fan following courtesy of his handsome looks, personality and physique. After securing a successful stint with hit daily soaps, Paras rose to fame with his performance in the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 13, wherein he won hearts for his terrific stance and emerged as one of the finalists of the show, who picked up Rs. 10 lakhs and walked out of the race to the final spot. Apart from this, Paras’s relationship with Mahira Sharma, which blossomed during the course of the show also grabbed attention, since he started dating her right after breaking up with his ex-girlfriend, Akanksha Puri on national television. And now, Paras made some startling accusations about Akanksha.
In a podcast interaction with the YouTuber, Lady Don, Paras Chhabra talked about his participation in the reality show, Bigg Boss 13. While he earned a lot of fame and popularity during the course of the show, he was equally disheartened to know that his mother didn’t approve of the same, when she came to meet him inside the BB House for the family week. Speaking about the same, Paras hinted at his ex-girlfriend, Akanksha Puri for manipulating his mother against him. Sharing how Akanksha gave anxiety to his mother, Paras mentioned:
“My mom supported me later ke jao ache se khelna. Par jo woh andar aayi thi na, tab tak teen saadhe teen mahine nikal chuke they. Or jo bahar baitha hua tha na, jo bahar baith ke bad PR kar raha tha, showing off ke main toh kisi ke yeh hu, main woh karti hu, yeh karti hu. Usne mummy ke dimag mey bahot negativity bhar dii thi. Mummy ko negativity de di thi. Meri maa ko anxiety de di thi, galat galat baat kar ke.”

In the same conversation, Paras then went on to reveal how Akanksha used to say wrong things about him to not just his mother, but also the host of the show, Salman Khan. Adding how his mother easily trusted her words and got carried away, Paras said:
“Meri mummy se fully connected hai or waha pe Salman ko phone kara ke mere liye bakwas bhi bol rahi hai. She played very well. Mummy influence hogai. Phir mummy ne aakar kaha tha k kya kar raha hai and all.”
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Paras Chhabra responded to his ex-girlfriend, Akanksha Puri’s claim of not getting a closure after their breakup. In his response, the actor clarified that their relationship ended three to four years back and he is done with it. Moreover, he emphasised that since time and again Akanksha’s topic comes back to him him, and added that everything ended from his side long time back.

Well, Paras and Mahira painted the town red with their mushy chemistry and obvious relationship angle during their stint in Bigg Boss 13. Even after the show ended, the duo were said to be quite committed with one another, and reportedly also wanted to take the next step in their relationship. However, a report in April 2023 claimed that the duo broke up and that Mahira was extremely hurt after such a massive decision. Interestingly, when Paras was reached out by the Hindustan Times for a comment on the same, the actor simply denied ever dating Mahira. He was quoted as saying:
“Humara koi relation tha hi nahi jo break up hoga. We are still friends.”
