Revealing to Entertainment Weekly, the Quantico actress shared how it all started, “I actually didn’t make the first move - he did. He texted me. The first time was a text and just saying, ‘I think we should connect,’ and whatever and that’s how we started talking”. So that was Nick Jonas’ first text message to Priyanka Chopra, and both would have never guessed back then, that a few years down the line, they would be getting married.
The Baywatch star further added, “This is such a wonderful new step in my life and I’m still getting used to it because it’s obviously been a whirlwind and I haven’t seen myself happier”.
We all know that Priyanka and Nick are reportedly getting married on December 02, 2018 in Jodhpur. A recent DNA report claims, “Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, wants to have a traditional Indian wedding for her daughter. So, there will be a mehendi and sangeet ceremonies on November 30 and December 1. PC and Nick are planning to fly down their closest buddies for their big moment. They have locked two venues in Jodhpur for the three-day function”.
Earlier, reporting Nickyanka’s wedding venue, a media house had suggested, “Nick and Priyanka were recently in India and had even gone to Jodhpur. That was when they decided the gorgeous Umaid Bhawan to be their dream wedding venue. They will have a limited guest list of 200 people with only their close friends and family in attendance. Since a lot of their Hollywood friends are settled in New York, PC is quite excited to have her bridal shower there followed by a grand wedding in Jodhpur”. Ever since, Priyanka and Nick got engaged in a roka ceremony on August 18, 2018, reports have been floating around about their wedding. Another online tabloid has reported that Priyanka’s wedding lehenga would be designed by the ace designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The report could be read as, “Priyanka and Nick will get hitched as per Hindu customs and the actress has roped in Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla to design her wedding lehenga. She met the designer duo on October 6 to finalise the designs. The meeting went on for 6 hours”.
Priyanka and Nick make it to the headlines every other day. Recent reports have claimed that the two would make their debut on Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee with Karan season 6. Another media house has suggested that Priyanka would shift her base to Los Angeles after getting married to Nick.
A few days ago, Priyanka had her bridal shower. Actress Mubina Rattonsey and Priyanka’s manager Anjula Acharia organised PeeCee’s bridal shower on October 28, 2018, at Tiffany’s Blue Box Café in New York. Hollywood actresses -Kelly Ripa, Lupita Nyong’o, and Priyanka’s mom, Madhu Chopra and her would-be mother-in-law, Denise Jonas were also present at the bridal shower.
