From Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Ripa, Nick Jonas' brother Kevin Jonas, his wife, Danielle Jonas to Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra and her soon-to-be mother-in-law Denise Jonas, PeeCee’s bridal shower saw the attendance of all her closed ones. Among her B-town friends, Neetu Kapoor and Sonali Bendre graced Priyanka’s bridal shower twinning in red. Famous designer, Anita Dongre too attended the bash.
Neetu Kapoor is currently in New York for her husband Rishi Kapoor's treatment and Sonali Bendre is currently undergoing treatment for cancer at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Neetu ji shared some glimpses from the bridal shower and wrote, “Lovely evening at Tiffany’s #priyankabridalshower @iamsonalibendre”. And Anita Dongre captioned her pictures as, “A weekend in NYC with these strong, amazing & inspirational women”.
According to the Vogue report, Priyanka’s guests at her bridal shower were given goodie bags that included monogrammed passport cases, mini cakes shaped like the iconic Tiffany box, and champagne. Her bridal shower was held at the exclusive fourth-floor flagship Tiffany’s outlet. Priyanka’s Quantico fame BFF, Mubina Rattonsey and manager, Anjula Acharia hosted a bridal shower bash for the to-be bride at Tiffany’s Blue Box Café in New York. Priyanka Chopra adorned $1 million worth of Tiffany's jewellery, excluding her $250,000 Tiffany's engagement ring, gifted by fiancé, Nick Jonas. Priyanka shared some pictures from her bridal shower, and captioned them, "Love, laughter and a room full of amazing ladies...and some special gentlemen (what a special surprise)! Thank you so much @mubinarattonsey and @anjula_acharia for throwing me such a memorable bridal shower that broke all the rules! My amazing friends and family who made me feel so special and loved, thank you. And to top it off @tiffanyandco Perfect! Here’s sharing it with you."
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Priyanka revealed who made the first move, she or Nick. She shared, "I actually didn’t make the first move -- he did. He texted me. The first time was a text and just saying, ‘I think we should connect,’ and whatever and that’s how we started talking." She also shared her excitement to start this new journey with Nick, "This is such a wonderful new step in my life and I’m still getting used to it because it’s obviously been a whirlwind and I haven’t seen myself happier."
Priyanka and Nick will become each other’s forever in a grand wedding in December in Jodhpur. The couple has invited their close friends from the industry. As per the SpotboyE reports, a source had shared, “Besides Salman, invitations will also be sent out to Arpita-Aayush, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail-Seema, Alvira-Atul Agnihotri and Salim Khan. The couple plans to host a 3-day grand celebration at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur and 1500-2000 guests are expected to turn up.” Along with them, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar and Siddharth Roy Kapur will also be invited by the lovebirds.
In an interview, Priyanka got candid about her relationship with Nick and revealed what makes their relationship work. Priyanka had stated, "Truly this (respect) is what worked for me, he has to be someone who respects you. By that, I don’t mean makes coffee for you, not that. But someone who respects the hard work you put into your life." Also, for Priyanka, her ideal man has to respect her work as much as he respects his own.
Elaborating on the same, PeeCee shared, “Who respects that if his work is important, so is yours. Or if he makes choices that are important to him, so is your opinion. That’s respect, and that’s incredible to have.” Along with respect, trust is another important aspect in a relationship. Priyanka went on to say, “Then everything is so easy because you give each other credit for your intelligence, you give each other the benefit of the doubt because you trust each other.
