Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare have been grabbing the limelight for the past couple of months, courtesy of their elaborate wedding celebrations that spanned across a lavish wedding registration followed by a destination wedding to Udaipur and a grand reception in Mumbai. While the pictures and clips from their wedding festivities have created quite a stir on the internet, it is now that the duo has finally taken some time off and left for their honeymoon.
Taking to her IG stories, Ira Khan dropped cutesy glimpses as she and her husband, Nupur Shikhare jetted off for their honeymoon. In the first picture, the couple could be seen leaning in for a selfie together, and their tired faces post a long queue for immigration was evident. In the second glimpse, the two could be seen sharing a glass of juice on the aircraft. Being her witty self, Ira captioned the photo as:
“We go through the immigration line together now."

In another picture shared by a common friend of Nupur and Ira, the couple could be seen posing for a snapshot right before entering the Mumbai airport. However, it was through their friend’s caption that we learnt that Ira and Nupur have zeroed down their honeymoon destination as Bali. He penned:
“Look whos here at Mumbai. It was a fantastic week and had a great time with you all… Good Bye I&N till we meet next time…… have a great time in #bali.”
On January 18, 2024, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare left everyone gushing over the teaser of their wedding video, which they shared in a collaborative post on their IG handles. The beautiful clip featured several moments of the couple as they enjoyed their special day with their close friends and family members. In one of the moments captured, Nupur could be spotted getting emotional while he delivered a speech that conveyed his love for his beautiful bride and soulmate, Ira. Indeed, such a gesture melted millions of hearts in no time.

It was on January 13, 2024, when the newly wedded couple, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare, celebrated their union by throwing a gala reception bash for their extended family and friends in Mumbai. The event was a starry affair, with all the A-listers from Bollywood attending it. Moreover, the couple’s gorgeous attires for their special day grabbed a lot of attention. Speaking of Ira, she dolled herself in an exquisite red lehenga that featured heavy golden zari and embroidery work all over it. She paired it with a matching halter-neck choli and carried a red dupatta adorned with golden lace work on her arms. On the other hand, Nupur nailed his ethnic look in a black bandhgala sherwani teamed with matching pyjamas.
