The newlyweds, Nupur Shikhare and Ira Khan are all set to celebrate their union with their extended family and friends by throwing a lavish reception party on January 14, 2024. The duo have zeroed down their reception venue in the iconic Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. According to India Today, an estimated number of 2500 guests can be estimated to be a part of the grand celebration. In fact, Aamir Khan has reportedly extended special invites to important film families, including the Bhatts, Kapoors, Deols, and Ambanis among others. The report can be quoted as:
“Aamir Khan has extended a warm invitation to everyone in the industry. From Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan, Ambanis, Kapoors, Bhatts, Deols, everyone is expected to attend the grand wedding reception in Mumbai. For the wedding reception, Ambanis have given their venue at NMACC to accommodate the guests.”

Moreover, the Khan and Shikhare family have setup a lavish food menu of Ira and Nupur's reception, wherein the Gujarati, Lucknowi and Maharashtrian delicacies will be dominating the main platter. These will be accompanied by nine other cuisines from around the country. Moreover, Aamir Khan has specifically seen after to include proper music and party vibes are ensured, so that everyone has a good time. The report stated:
“The Khans have kept a plethora of menus for guests. A total of 9 different state cuisines are a part of the reception venue. The Gujarati menu apparently dominates the palate, with Lucknowi and Maharashtrian food also on the list.”
On January 11, 2024, internet was filled with loved-up glimpses of Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s white wedding. After an elaborate celebration of traditional rituals, including mehendi and sangeet, the much-in-love couple exchanged vows in a white wedding, that was officiated by Ira’s cousin, Zayn Marie. For her special day, Ira decked up in a white embroidered gown, with net sleeves and broad shoulder cuffs. She tied her hair in a bun and adorned it with a white floral tiara. Sleek earrings, dewy makeup and bridal glow added stars to her look. Nupur Shikhare, on the other hand, looked dapper in a beige-hued tuxedo paired with a white shirt and matching bow.

Back on January 11, 2024, Ira Khan was spotted at the Udaipur airport, as she departed the city post her wedding. She was joined along with her mommy, Reena Dutta and husband, Nupur Shikhare. In the glimpses and clips which surfaced, the trio could be seen happily posing with each other. However, it was the new bride, Ira’s bridal glow, which was unmissable.
