The Baahubali franchise, which turned Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty into global stars, has often grabbed a lot of attention for its high-scale sets and stellar storyline. After two blockbuster films, the makers have returned with Baahubali: The Torchbearer. For those unaware, it is a four-episode documentary, which leaves a lasting impact on the audience.

Apart from the making, it also includes a portion where the director, S.S. Rajamouli is seen appreciating Prabhas' hard work for the film. Hours after Baahubali: The Torchbearer dropped on Netflix, cinephiles binged watched all the four episodes and shared their comments on X (formerly Twitter). While some users hailed Rajamouli’s extraordinary vision, others got emotional seeing the journey of the iconic film franchise. One user commented, "I'm so overwhelmed by seeing #BaahubaliTheTorchbearer documentary. I'm at loss of words. Hardwork of hundreds of thousands of people made Baahubali what it is today. Especially the hard work of main cast and crew. They trained their ass off to make this once in a life time cinema."

Another user wrote, "I found myself more emotional watching baahubali torchbearer making docu series than the film baahubali 1 and 2..the films made me admire a world…but the docuseries made me admire the people who built it." Will Rajamouli return with Baahubali 3?

A major highlight of the documentary, Baahubali: The Torchbearer was when Rana Daggubati, Prabhas and Anushka Shetty were sitting on a couch and talking about the masterpiece they created. During the chat, Rana says, "The world may not be ready yet, but there will be Baahubali..." Before he completes, the Saaho actor, Prabhas holds up three fingers; however, he is stopped by Rana and Anushka. The clip has gone viral on social media, suggesting that the visionary director, S.S. Rajamouli might return with Baahubali 3.
