Prabhas starrer, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, has completed nine years on April 28, 2026, and fans of the movie are celebrating the achievements made by the movie. It has been a decade since Baahubali 2: The Conclusion was released, and even after nine years, the movie continues to hold a special place in the hearts of all the fans across the nation. However, do you know that Prabhas was not the highest-paid star of the movie?
Prabhas, a.k.a. Baahubali, had given five years of his life to the movie. He was at the peak of his career when the movie was released, and he did not sign up for any other movie. A report by SCREEN said that Prabhas ran out of money, but he did not take on any new movies or endorsement deals. Prabhas was reportedly paid Rs. 25 crore for the movie. He was the highest-paid star in the cast, but someone was paid more than him for the film.

The captain of the ship and the director of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion was SS Rajamouli. He was the brainchild of the movie, Baahubali and reportedly he was paid Rs. 28 crore for the full franchise. Well, Baahubali: The Beginning minted Rs. 600 crore while Baahubali 2: The Conclusion reportedly minted Rs. 1810 crore gross.

The report further revealed that Rana Daggubati who played 'Bhallaladeva' had a parallel role to that of Prabhas. He played the role of a baddie and it was worth praising. Rana reportedly charged Rs. 15 crore for the full franchise. Anushka Shetty, on the flip side, played the role of 'Devasena'. She surprised fans with the prosthetics and look of an old 'Devasena' in Part 1 of Baahubali.

Well, in Baahubali: The Conclusion, Anushka gave her fans a complete surprise when she showcased her young, fierce side as a warrior princess. Anushka had taken Rs. 5 crore to essay her role in the movie. Well, speaking of Tamannaah Bhatia on the other side, who played 'Avanthika', she took Rs. 5 crore to play a rebellious lady. Tamannaah Bhatia played a very important role in Part 1 of Baahubali. In the final leg of the movie, she had only like four or five scenes.

Speaking of Ramya Krishnan, who played 'Sivagami', her character was the strongest in the movie. She played the role of 'Mother Queen' who was seen redefining the destiny of her full kingdom, Mahishmati. The actress charged Rs. 2.5 crore for the same. On the flip side, there was Sathyaraj, who played the role of 'Kattapa'. He had a very strong part in the movie, but he did not receive a grand payment.

Well, the entire second part of Baahubali gave rise to the question related to "Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?", Sathyaraj was paid only Rs. 2 crore for his cult classic role. Speaking more about the movie, the SS Rajamouli movie had minted more than Rs. 1000 crore worldwide. The budget for Baahubali 1 had reportedly stood at Rs. 180 crore, while the second part of the film was made at a budget of Rs. 250 crore. Well, the production costs and the stars' fees have differed for the cast of Baahubali 2. A big chunk of money was invested in the VFX, production of the movie, and set design.
