Though the trend of the remixes isn’t new for the 90s kid as they had enjoyed the remakes of gems, Roop Tera Mastana, Chhod Do Aanchal, Aaja Piya Tohe Pyaar Doon, Kaanta Laga, Kya Soorat Hai, Woh Chali, Tu Tu Hai Wahi and many others. But the remix trend got redefined for the millennials when Dum Maro Dum, Aapka Kya Hoga Janab-e-Ali, Hamma Hamma, Tamma Tamma, Aankh Maare amongst other songs got a new version. And a major credit for the Bollywood remixes would go to Neha Kakkar. From Kar Gayi Chull, Kaala Chashma to O Saki Saki and Lamborghini, Neha is unarguably the queen of remixes. But other than her exceptional professional graph, Neha Kakkar has ruled the headlines with her personal life. While 2018 was all about Neha’s relationship with her Oh Humsafar co-star, Himansh Kohli, the end of the year was governed with their possible split. 2019 had churned the gossip mills with Neha’s rumoured affair with Indian Idol contestant, Vibhor Parashar. And now in 2020, rumours of Neha’s marriage with Indian Idol 11 host, Aditya Narayan has been circulating in the media and looks like it won’t fade away anytime soon.
It all started with Aditya Narayan trying to woo the Indian Idol 11 judge, Neha Kakkar with his antics on the show. Things had taken a serious turn when Aditya’s parents, Udit Narayan and Deepa Narayan Jha expressed their wish to make Neha their bahu and tried to convince her on the show. Even Neha’s parents became a part of the prank and told her that they have accepted the rishta. Since then, there have been reports emerging in the media about Neha and Aditya’s February 14, 2020, wedding. Even the celebrities, who grace the show, Indian Idol 11 become a part of the drama. Of late, adding fuel to the existing wedding reports, the Indian Idol 11 team celebrated the last days of the bride and groom enjoying singlehood.
If the Instagram stories of the official Sony TV page are to be believed, when Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan featured on Indian Idol 11 to promote Love Aaj Kal, they celebrated the last singlehood days of to-be bride, Neha Kakkar and groom-to-be, Aditya Narayan. From party props, Aditya making his ladylove, Neha blush with his antics, feeding each other chocolate to a romantic dance performance by the alleged bride and groom, the ‘love special’ episode of Indian Idol seems to be a fun one. But at the end of the stories, it was revealed that celebrations were just a mere dream of Aditya. In the same episode, Kumar Sanu will also make a special appearance on the show and will bring a special gift for Neha Kakkar on behalf of Aditya Narayan and his family. Kumar Sanu will gift Neha, a beautiful red chunni as shaadi ka shagun on behalf of the Narayan family. As Neha accepts the shagun, Kumar Sanu and Himesh Reshammiya will croon Odh Li Chunariya Tere Naam Ki from the film, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. Aditya and Neha had also posted their individual pictures on their respective Instagram handles, where they both had struck a pose indicating a half hand-made heart.

For the uninitiated, Neha is judging the show alongside Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya. In one of the episodes, the team had shot for a shaadi special theme for which everyone, including the judges, had decked up in traditional attires. While Neha had looked beautiful in a teal blue lehenga with jhumka and gajra, Vishal had looked dapper in a black bandhgala and Himesh, as usual, had rocked in a white shirt and yellow blazer. It was on a video story clicked by Neha, did we see Himesh joke that it is her wedding. To which, Neha too, had jokingly replied that today is her wedding and she is wearing gajra too!
In a post-breakup interview with the Dainik Bhaskar, Neha Kakkar had spoken about moving on after parting ways with her ex, Himansh Kohli and clarified if she is open to falling in love again or not. Neha had stated, “Thankfully, I have moved on from this bad relationship. I am really in a happy space now. I have realised that my family is more deserving than anybody else in my life. I am happy with whatever happened because that made me realise the importance of my family members. With this bad experience, I am not open to love again.
