There was a time when we used to see and hear cute and adorable things from the side of Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan about each other. Soon their pictures started making rounds on the internet and fans were just drooling over their photos and videos from the sets of their upcoming film, Love Aaj Kal. Well, it all started during the promotions of Kedarnath, when Sara Ali Khan was asked about her statement on the show, Koffee With Karan, about her desire to date Kartik Aaryan. While we will talk about that in detail later, on a radio show hosted by RJ Malishka, Sara again mentioned her ‘crush’, and said that she finds him ‘damn cute’. And when the RJ asked Sara if she should take her proposal to Kartik, Sara requested her to please do so! Since then, we have seen a lot of cute exchanges in-between Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan in multiple interviews and social media posts. But, it didn’t go for too long as according to a report from Mumbai Mirror, a source had informed that Sara and Kartik were not able to handle their schedules after the wrap-up of Love Aaj Kal. The two were unable to take out time for each other, as both are having one of the most critical trajectories of their respective careers. And, even the slightest of distractions can cause enormous harm to their respective careers. However, no word has been passed from the side of Sara and Kartik on their alleged relationship or rumoured breakup. However, in their recent promotional visit on the sets of the singing reality show, Indian Idol 11, the two were seen mocking each other.
On their recent visit, both Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan were invited by the host, Aditya Narayan to play the 'Game of Truths'. It was the game in which for the first time we saw differences in Sara and Kartik’s opinions. On one side, where Kartik revealed that he isn’t ready for marriage just yet, as all he wants to do right now is work. On which, Sara trolled him and said, “You are ready for a relationship but not marriage?” After that, the game kept on going and Kartik was asked about the idea of being friends with your ex-lover. To this question, Kartik replied explaining he can’t stay friends with his ex-lovers. On which, again Sara had an opposite take as the actress told, she has no problem in staying friends with an ex-lover. Well, we never knew that Sara and Kartik have these kinds of differences in opinions in these relationship-related topics. Well, it’s hard not to remember all those interviews and incidents that provided the much-needed fuel to the fire of their alleged relationship in media. For instance, let’s talk about one of the most memorable moments that started it all. When Sara had added an extra bit of moonlight on her ramp debut with Falguni and Shane Peacock’s latest collection. The moment she stepped on to the ramp, it was her beloved brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan and rumoured boyfriend, Kartik Aaryan, who were cheering for her from the front row. Adorable, isn’t it? Well, the imprints of their memorable pictures and mushy captions are always going to be there in the wet clay of the internet. However, last year one of the reliable sources had shared with Bollywood Life that Kartik used to join FaceTime talks with Sara’s mother, Amrita Singh while they were shooting for Love Aaj Kal in Himachal Pradesh. The same source had added that there were no problems in-between Amrita and Sara’s ‘rumoured’ beau, Kartik, as all three used to have lively conversations. But things are completely different at the moment and we don’t see the similar kind of bond that we saw in the initial days of their rumoured relationship.
