The second time parents, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, are reliving all the special moments of their parenthood with the arrival of their baby boy. It was in July 2021 when the adorable couple had announced the news of expecting their second baby. On October 3, 2021, Neha and Angad were blessed with a baby boy and their daughter, Mehr, was promoted to an elder sister.
On September 20, 2021, Neha Dhupia had shared glimpses of how she and her daughter, Mehr, had started preparing for the then-soon-to-be-born new member of their family. Neha had started making her second child’s nursery near the window in her house to give her baby a peaceful surrounding. In the video, Neha could be seen holding her daughter, Mehr, in her arms as she had guided the team with the setup. Sharing a video, she had written, “Making our little nursery with @merkaihomes” atop it.

On October 29, 2021, Neha took to her IG handle and gave a tour of her son's cute animal-themed nursery. In the video, Neha revealed how she brainstormed for a while, and the outcome turned out to be super cute. From the couch, comfortable cot and feeding space, Neha revealed which place is her favourite. Neha captioned the video as:
"Before bringing our baby boy we wanted to build our little love cave for him… thank you @merakihomes and Smriti for making it so warm and wonderful… our babies love their little space… and we love spending time with them in it… #gifted."
In a conversation with Bombay Times, Angad Bedi had shared that the couple had ensured that their daughter, Mehr’s choice is considered while planning for their second baby’s nursery. He had stated:
“As parents, we are conscious of the fact that while paying attention to the newborn, we have to ensure that she’s equally attended to. We also want Mehr to learn and understand the dynamics of having a sibling. She already feels like the big sister.”

Stating that Mehr will be sharing her space with her sibling and had decided on an animal-themed nursery for him, Angad had added:
“It’s a big responsibility to raise two kids without making either feel less important. And it’s best when kids grow up in each other’s company. Mehr will be sharing her space with her sibling, so keeping her likes in mind was just as important as making the newborn comfortable. She has always been fond of animals and hence, the theme. We don’t want her to feel that she’s not the apple of our eyes. She always will be that for our entire family.”
