Ever since a couple gets to know about their pregnancy, they are not just excited but also plan a lot of things for the future. Starting from the hospital in which the baby would be born to buying clothes for him or her and zeroing in on a name for the newborn, the would-be-parents have to do all of it. Actress, Neha Dhupia and her actor-husband, Angad Bedi are going through a similar phase in their life as they will be embracing parenthood for the second time.
Two days back, the duo had surprised their fans by announcing the news of welcoming their second child. Sharing the picture, Angad had written, "New Home production coming soon..Waheguru mehr kare." On the other hand, Neha had captioned it as "Took us 2 days to come with a caption….The best one we could think of was … Thank you, God. #WaheguruMehrKarein."
Just a day after announcing their pregnancy, the duo had conducted a LIVE session with their fans on July 20, 2021, on their IG handle. In the LIVE session, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi thanked their fans for showering them with congratulatory messages. In the session, one of their fans asked if they have zeroed in on any name for their second baby and Neha told the fan that they are open to suggestions.
Stating the same, Neha told the fan, "Listen, we are more than happy. Please send us suggestions. Boy names... girl names..." When a fan suggested the name, 'Gurmeher' for their second child, the duo loved it and Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi exclaimed "What a lovely name! We will definitely keep that suggestion."
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Neha Dhupia had revealed that the beginning of her pregnancy was tough as Angad Bedi was COVID positive. She had said, "Hard is an understatement. It was a lot that we went through. It's always hard when someone around you gets COVID-19, and harder when you are pregnant, but Angad was the one who helped me stay positive in that period."
Earlier, in an interview with Zoom Digital, Angad Bedi had revealed that his elder daughter, Mehr is pretty much excited to welcome her younger sibling. Stating the same, he had said, "She is too small but she does have an idea that she is going to have a sibling soon. She is excited and shares a beautiful emotion. She says that I am going to share my things and I am going to share my room."
For the unversed, Mehr Dhupia Bedi is two years old and will turn three on November 18, 2021.
