Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi are one of the most loved couples of Bollywood. Not only the two are made for each other but have always managed to give couple goals to the millenials with their camaraderie. The duo had kept their relationship a secret and surprised everyone when they had tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Delhi. Netizens couldn’t stop drooling over the beautiful wedding pictures posted by the couple after their marriage. The much-in-love couple had completed their family picture when they had welcomed their little angel on November 18, 2018.
On December 10, 2019, Bollywood director, Amritpal Singh Bindra hosted a 90s-themed party to celebrate his birthday where all the B-town celebs came dressed up as their favourite Bollywood characters. While everyone picked their favourite stars, it was Neha Dhupia and her husband, Angad Bedi who just blew our minds with their recreation of 90s favourite jodi of Raj and Simran from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Neha recreated the look of Kajol while donning a green kurti and dhoti just like Kajol in the song ‘Mehendi laga ke rakhna’. Her husband, Angad complemented her by opting Shah Rukh’s look and donned a white kurta-pyjama with a maroon jacket.
In the glamour world, where keeping things personal becomes really difficult, Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia had managed to keep their relationship under the wraps. In an interview with the Bombay Times, Angad had finally revealed why their wedding was so private and low-key. He had shared, “I feel that our marriage was low-key because we wanted a low-key marriage. Because, when my father got married he had a very low-key wedding and he was the captain of India at that time. Angad Bedi had further added, “And, I thought of it as such a beautiful story. So, when our turn happened I wanted it to be just like how my father had his wedding and we had only 50 people. Abhi shaadi aapne apne liye karni hai ya logon ke liye karni hai, pehele yeh decide karlo. It’s like each to their own. I feel a wedding is a private affair, we both believe in that. The marriage is not only between two people, it’s between two families. Yes, it’s great to celebrate, we had a great baby shower, and we called the entire industry and everybody came and blessed us.”
Though the duo had kept their relationship a secret, they have been quite open about Neha’s pregnancy and how their life has changed after the arrival of little Mehr. During an interview with the Hindustan Times, Angad had shared the experience of parenthood and had stated that Mehr has brought a lot of changes in him. She has made him understand a lot of things and he now has a lot of gratitude to the universe and people. He had also stated that fatherhood has made him a better person, a better performer and had also helped him realise the value of the family.
