Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda enjoys a huge fan following on her social media handles due to her royal lineage. On one hand, she is the granddaughter of the Big B of Bollywood and on the other hand, her father, Nikhil Nanda, is the Chairman and Managing Director of Escorts Limited (his family venture).
Navya Naveli Nanda has no plans of joining the entertainment industry. However, she is keen on joining her dad, Nikhil Nanda, in his business. Navya is quite active on her Instagram handle and often treats her fans with some unseen glimpses of the Bachchan-Nanda clan. On Mother’s Day 2021, Navya had shared throwback pictures with her mom, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and had written, "Maa – not a word, but a feeling" atop it.
A few hours ago, Navya Naveli Nanda had taken to her IG handle yet again to share a cutesy throwback picture from her childhood in which she was seen wearing a high-neck t-shirt. Sharing the photo, Navya wrote, "Since 1997." The picture showed her posing for the camera.
As soon as the picture was posted, the comments section was filled with appraisals for Navya. However, it was her mother, Shweta Bachchan Nanda sweet reaction, that had caught all the attention. The doting mother had dropped a red heart emoticon in the comments. On the other hand, actor, Sanjay Kapoor's wife, Maheep Kapoor, wrote, "Aewwwww cutie."
In an earlier interview with Vogue, Navya had once talked about the influence of ‘working women’ on her and growing up around strong ladies in her family. However, this interview did not go down well with one of the netizens as he asked her about Shweta's profession. The comment could be read as “What work does her mother do? LOL.”
Replying to the nasty comment, Navya had written, "@tarakaursingh2 She's an author, writer, designer, wife & mother", followed by a smiley face emoticon. Sharing a screenshot of the comment on her IG story, Navya had written, "Being a mother and a wife is a full-time job. Please don't discredit women who are homemakers. Their role is so crucial in the upbringing of a generation that will hopefully support their contribution instead of tearing it down."
On the work front, Navya Naveli Nanda is one of the founders of Aara Health, a digital healthcare platform for women.
