The first month of the year ended on a pleasant note as television actor, Anurag Sharma had tied the knot with the love of his life, Nandini Gupta on January 31, 2020. Anurag and Nandini, who were in a steady relationship for quite some time had taken their relationship to the next level by pronouncing each other husband and wife. For the wedding, Anurag had donned a cream-coloured sherwani with matching safa and a red-coloured stole. On the other hand, Nandini had looked gorgeous in a red lehenga and had accentuated her look with traditional neckpiece, matching jhumkis, maatha patti and nath.
On February 6, 2020, Anurag Sharma turned a year older and it was his lovely wife, Nandini Gupta, who wished her hubby with an adorable birthday post. She took to her Instagram handle and shared pictures from their wedding. Along with the pictures, she wrote a beautiful birthday note which can be read as “Happy birthday pati ji… I LOVE YOU Sooooo much... My #Prince #Nandinikadulha #Nandinikishaadi” followed by an array of hearts.
On February 3, 2020, Anurag's family had hosted a grand welcome for the new bahu. Nandini had shared videos of the griha pravesh ceremony on her Instagram stories. Anurag’s entire family and friends were seen dancing with happiness. On February 4, 2020, Anurag had taken to his Instagram stories and had posted pictures of his wife, Nandini. In the pictures, Nandini had donned a yellow saree with a pearl border and had teamed it with a quarter sleeve blouse. She had accentuated her look with a mangalsutra and red chooda. Anurag and Nandini have known each other from the last five years. On January 13, 2020, Anurag had shared his marriage announcement on his Instagram handle with a video and had captioned it as "KISMAT CONNECTION I loved her @starnandini since the first time I saw her. Me and Nandini #ANUDINI are ready to take up the big leap and start the adventure called "marriage". We are truly blessed with such amazing family, friends and fans please continue to pour your love and blessings as we begin this journey." Anurag Sharma and Nandini Gupta’s wedding festivities had begun with a satsang and it was the elated bride-to-be, who had posted glimpses of the same on her Instagram. For the satsang, Nandini had opted for a white kurta with blue-coloured floral printed dupatta. She had accentuated her look with floral jewellery and a wide smile on her face. Anurag had expressed his feelings for Nandini’s satsang look with the song, Na Kajare Ki Dhar from the film, Mohra and had written, “Na kajre ki dhaar na motiyo k haar, na koi Kiya shringar fir bhi kitni sunder ho @starnandini.”
In an interview with The Times of India, Anurag had talked about his compatibility with Nandini. He had shared, "While I'm a quiet person, Nandini is a vivacious one. We are completely opposite personalities and maybe that is attracted me to her." He had further revealed that they lived in the same area and often crossed each other's paths. One fine day, he had gathered the courage to ask her if she would accompany him to Siddhivinayak temple and that's how their love story had begun.
