Tollywood’s biggest superstar, Mahesh Babu had broken million hearts when he had fallen head-over-heels in love with Marathi mulgi, Namrata Shirodkar. On the other hand, Namrata, who had entered the world of glamour after winning the title of Miss India in 1993 was doing some splendid work in Bollywood. She is best known for her works in films like, Kachche Dhaage, Vaastav: The Reality, Pukar, Astitva and the crossover cinema, Bride and Prejudice. Mahesh Babu is one of the biggest names in Tollywood and enjoys a humongous fanbase. The shy Tollywood actor has always managed to charm his audience with his outstanding performances. He had met his ladylove, Namrata Shirodkar when they had starred in the Telegu movie, Vamsi. In the beginning of the shooting, they were quite cordial to each other by the end of the shooting, the duo had fallen madly-in love with one another. On February 10, 2005, Namrata and Mahesh had tied the knot and are proud parents of two adorable kids, Gautam and Sitara.
Since the lockdown is lifted and many celebs have resumed to their shootings, Mahesh Babu too has resumed to his work post COVID break. On September 9, 2020, celebrity photographer, Avinash Gowariker took to his IG handle and shared a stunning monochrome picture of Mahesh Babu from a brand shoot as he resumed to work with a smashing new look. Namrata Shirodkar reposted the picture where Mahesh looked handsome with his long hair and lean body. Along with the picture, Namrata wrote, “Phenomenal shoot Avi. Enjoyed ur mad company as always.”
On August 9, 2020, Mahesh Babu had turned a year older, and Namrata had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a mushy picture with him. In the picture, we could see the duo sharing a sweet moment as Mahesh had given a peck on Namrata's forehead. Alongside it, Namrata had penned a sweet note, which could be read as "True love is how I experience it with YOU. Happy Birthday MB. I love you, now and always. @urstrulymahesh." On Father’s Day, i.e., June 21, 2020, Namrata had taken to her IG handle and had shared an adorable picture of Mahesh Babu with their kids, Gautam and Sitara. Along with the picture, Namrata had penned a beautiful note for the best dad, which could be read as “Gentle, patient, strong, compassionate, loving... all that your father was to you... You are to us a fine example of fatherhood. You're the best dad for your brats. Thank you for always going out of your way for your family, for protecting us, and always being that pillar... You've always got their backs. Grateful to be sharing life, love and parenthood with you. You make our world more beautiful each day. Happy Father's Day MB. We love you. @urstrulymahesh #FathersDay.”
Once in an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, Namrata had shared her views on being called the force behind her husband, Mahesh's fantastic career. She had said, "You know, people believe Mahesh does what I ask him to. That's not true. He may look shy and gentle, but, he knows his mind. All his career decisions are taken by him, although he does share the plot and script idea with me casually. Yes, if he dresses differently from the other actors in Andhra Pradesh, I could have influenced his sartorial choices."
