They were clueless if news related to their divorce was true or not. When they released a joint statement, Mouni and Suraj realised they were headed for a divorce.

Mouni, while posting her wedding pictures, had written, "Found him at last. Hand in hand, blessed by family & friends, We are married! Need your love and blessings. 27.01.22. A shocked and a sad fan seeing the snaps wrote, "Kya baat hai abhi pta chala iski shadi ho gayi and abhi hi pta chla ki iska divorce ho gya. She didn't delete the post, and he has not posted a single picture with her. They were so beautiful. Instagram is like an aunt, after being divorced, they’re showing this post." A user even penned:

"Divorce news is always heartbreaking. Idk why such beautiful couples get separated. Is marriage really that difficult? Is happily ever after a myth? I am not her biggest fan, kinda, but I do like her. All I can say to the public is that if you can’t say something nice and encouraging to her, please don’t say anything hurtful. This is not something she wished for, and I know the pain of separating. If I didn’t have experience, I would never comment meanly to her or anybody in words."

Now, in a piece of shocking news, Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar have again started following one another on the social media. Well, despite announcing the separation news and unfollowing one another earlier, they have now both followed each other on the social media. The ex-partners in their separation note had written that they were dismayed by the unnecessary and intrusive attention to their personal lives by certain quarters of the media. A part of it read:

"We would like to state that we have decided to part ways and are taking the necessary time to address matters privately and amicably. Attempts have been made to sensationalise our private lives by the circulation of fictitious narratives and blatant falsehoods, which do not reflect the reality of our relationship. After thoughtful reflection on evolving personal priorities, we have mutually chosen to move forward on separate paths with respect and understanding."

Their note further read that at this point, they are focused on navigating this phase thoughtfully and privately. They will endeavour to cherish their friendship in times to come. They all want everyone to appreciate their understanding, respect their privacy and continue to give support during this time.
