Mona Singh is one of the most talented actresses in Tinseltown. She kickstarted her journey in showbiz with the hit serial, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, which gave her immense fame and household recognition. Thereafter, she got her first break into films in the Aamir Khan-starrer, 3 Idiots. Fast forward to now, she has completed over 20 successful years in showbiz, and there hasn’t been any looking back for her. In her personal life, Mona is married to filmmaker, Shyam Rajagopalan.
In an interview with ETimes, Mona Singh opened up about her life post marriage. The diva revealed now she has a partner for everything that she does and added that she and her husband, Shyam work on their marriage every single day. In her words:
“Life after marriage is good, but one has to work on it every single day. Shyam and I try to be in sync with each other. The best part about marriage is that I have a coffee partner, travel partner, binge-show-watching partner, late night drives partner and eating out partner 24/7. Shyam and I are both creative people and we love discussing work.”

In the same interaction, Mona was asked about getting her eggs frozen at the age of 34 and was quipped whether she had any plans to embrace parenthood. To this, the diva responded how, for the longest time, she never thought of needing someone else in her life and was content being single. Moreover, she shared that she was glad she married later, as she could now understand the values of relationships. She mentioned:
“I was whole and complete with the way I was and never felt the need to have a man in my life. But I met Shyam and fell in love with him. He is a great guy and does not expect me to change in any way. I ma glad that I married a bit late because I understand life and relationships better now. If I had married in my 20s, I would not have been the woman I am today. About kids, when I froze my eggs, I did not know that I would ever get married. Now that I am married, I don’t know when I will have kids. It will happen whenever we are ready.”
In a previous interview with The Times Of India, Mona Singh shared how she and her husband, Shyam are in no hurry to hop onto the parenthood bandwagon anytime soon. Moreover, she expressed that by getting her eggs frozen quite early on in her life, she felt free from the constant pressures of the biological clock ticking.

Apart from her personal life, Mona Singh is an exceptional actress, who continues to swoon the hearts of millions with her talents. In one of her previous interviews with India Today, she talked about facing the casting couch in the showbiz industry. Narrating her experience, she had said:
“I have. But that was, like, at the time, even before I got ‘Jassi…’. It was the time when I used to come from Pune to Bombay for auditions. I did meet a couple of people who made me feel uncomfortable and really weird and horrible."
