Mona Singh rose to fame with her acting stint in the serial, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, which changed how we look at outer beauty. After making a remarkable presence in the television industry, Mona played many roles and won accolades for them. However, it was her performance in the most-loved film, 3 Idiots, that is still afresh in the minds of millions, especially the emotions she showed during the delivery scene.
Recently, Mona Singh shared an interesting anecdote of shooting a famous scene with Aamir Khan while filming 3 Idiots, in an interaction with Humans Of Bombay. Mona revealed that delivering the scene on the tennis table was intense. She added that all the men were sharing their wives' delivery stories, and how they kicked or bit them. Talking about the same, Mona said:
"The last TT wala scene was pretty intense. All men around me, and all of them telling me — my wife did this. Raju sir telling my wife kicked me out. Madhavan is telling me my wife bit me. Then I was like, 'What should I do?'"

Mona further revealed that it was Aamir Khan, who came to her rescue, and simply suggested that she should slap him. She was like, okay, and she slapped him, but it wasn't hard enough. Later, she really slapped him, and his bodyguard gave her a stare. She was quoted as saying:
"Then Aamir sir told me, 'Mona, you slap me.' Then I slapped him, but it wasn’t hard enough, and he was like, 'Asli vala thappad maro (Give me a real slap).' I went full Sardarni josh, and I slapped him. I remember his bodyguard staring at me, and I was like, 'Sorry.' But Aamir sir continued acting because that’s what he loves. He wants it to be all real, and I gave it all real."
During the same interview, Mona Singh recalled her bond with Aamir Khan. She shared that he calls her 'mummy'. Aamir Khan even wished her last year on Mother's Day, and expressed how she did a phenomenal job in his film, Laal Singh Chadda. The actress added that watching him is like learning at film school, and she also went on to say that he is a perfectionist.
