Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor is known for her charming smile and sartorial fashion choices. She had got married to the love of her life, Anand Ahuja, in May 2018, after dating for two years. Since then, the much-in-love couple was enjoying their marital bliss to the fullest, and their respective social media handles are proof of the same. However, rumours about Sonam's pregnancy were rife in the media quite a number of times, since their marriage. And they had time and again quashed all such rumours.
Finally, on March 22, 2022, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja had announced their 'good news' and had delighted their fans with drool-worthy pictures of them. Taking to her IG handle, Sonam had announced that she would embrace motherhood soon. She had posted a series of pictures from her maternity shoot, wherein the soon-to-be-mom was seen donning a black monokini and had flaunted her baby bump. Along with it, she had written:
"Four hands to raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you."

A few hours ago, Anand Ahuja took to his IG handle and shared a series of pictures from his store launch in Bandra, Mumbai. In a few of the pictures, Anand was seen posing with Sonam, who flaunted her baby bump in a blue-coloured pantsuit with a white t-shirt underneath. Anand also posted a picture with Anil and the duo looked handsome. While in the other pictures, Anand gave glimpses from his store. Sharing the pictures, he wrote in the caption:
“You don’t need permission to build castles in the sky. @banksy."
Soon Anand's loving wife, Sonam Kapoor took to the comment section and penned some cutest lines for her hubby. And Sonam's comment spoke volumes about her love-filled relationship with Anand. Sonam wrote:
"Obsessed with you. You’re so Hot."

In an interview with the Vogue India, Sonam Kapoor had revealed that she is currently focusing on keeping herself healthy rather than trying to diet or exercise to be an ideal size. She had also added that she does yoga and weight training to keep her body happy. In addition, she had shared that her pregnancy had pushed her to take the healthy route. Further, she had confessed that she had conceived at the age of 36, and now, she is four months pregnant. Revealing that her pregnancy journey hasn't been easy, Sonam had mentioned:
“I ate a dosa for breakfast this morning. I'm not trying to be on some high protein diet to get to fifteen percent body fat. Crash dieting is just not sustainable. If you want to carry another life within you, you have to respect your own. It's been tough—nobody tells you how hard it is. Everybody tells you how wonderful it is. The reason we're all here is to change and become better versions of ourselves. So that evolution is something I look forward to.”
Sonam Kapoor had experienced a growth spurt in her teenage years, and it had left her feeling self-conscious about her body. In the same conversation, the 36-year-old actress had added that it was her progressive mother, Sunita Kapoor, who had helped her come out of that phase. In her words:
“I didn't have the refinement that other young girls had—that posture, that elegance. I was a bit of a mess. Moreover, I come from a family of actors and grew up in the eye of the storm that is Bollywood. So, in our culture you're prepped from an early age to be pretty enough to get married. However, my mom had provided me the much-needed respite from the stringent societal expectations around beauty for women.”
