Deepika Padukone is on cloud nine as she is expecting her first child with husband, Ranveer Singh. The actress has mostly been away from the media glares, but when she stepped out to cast her vote on May 20, 2024, she became the target of online trolls. However, both Deepika and Ranveer did not pay heed to such noises made by some anonymous names on the internet and continued to enjoy the best phase of their lives.
On May 24, 2024, Deepika delighted her fans with a few glimpses of herself in which she was radiating a beautiful pregnancy glow in a bright yellow pleated dress. Her look was accentuated by a pair of dainty diamond and pearl-studded earrings and glam makeup comprising pink lips and blushed cheeks. Deepika looked as stunning as ever with her hair tied into a messy low bun. She shared the pictures on her Instagram stories sans any captions.

Deepika ventured out of her home to launch her skincare brand, 82 E on Tira Beauty. In a video which she uploaded to her IG story, the actress was seen chatting with someone about being the salesperson of their store. The actress also shared a post on her IG account to announce that her brand's products will be available on the beauty site both online and offline.
Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in 2018 in Lake Como, Italy. After five years of marital bliss, the couple announced their pregnancy. They took to Instagram on February 29, 2024, and shared a collaborative post revealing that they will be welcoming their first child in September 2024. Their announcement post featured cute drawings of baby stuff, including a bib, shoes, hat, button, and clothes.
While Deepika and Ranveer’s entire fanbase cannot wait for the arrival of their favourite couple’s baby, some people on social media trolled the mom-to-be when she stepped out to do her democratic duty and cast her vote in Mumbai. As the trolls got more vicious, journalist, Faye D’souza came out in support of Deepika and penned a note in support of the actress, saying that she did not ask for feedback on her body or pregnancy. Soon, many other renowned names from the industry, including Alia Bhatt, reacted to the post.

Deepika was last seen in the Siddharth Anand-directed movie, Fighter, co-starring Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. The actress will next be seen in the Indian epic sci-fi film, Kalki 2898 AD alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Hasan, and Prabhas. She is also working on Rohit Shetty’s next film, Singham Again, with Ajay Devgn, and will also star in the Hindi remake of The Intern.
