Indian cricketer, Mohammed Shami has been all over the headlines for his power-packed performance on the cricket field. For the unversed, after missing the first four games of WC 2023, Shami has become the most successful bowler of the Indian cricket team, with 16 wickets from 4 ODIs at an average of 7.00. Not just this, the 33-year-old cricketer emerged as the fourth-highest wicket-taker in this World Cup despite not playing the initial matches of India.
Now, during an interview with News Nation, Hasin Jahan, the ex-wife of Mohammed Shami, was asked to express her views about the cricketer's achievements. However, the cricketer's ex-flame refused to give applause to him and instead mentioned that she knows nothing about cricket. Adding that she is uninterested in the world of cricket, Hasin said:
"Main cricket dekhti nahi hu, isliye cricketers ki bhi fan nahi hu. Or kitne wicket liye, kya liye, ye sab mere samajh ke bahar hai. Mai kuchh janti bhi nahi hu."

For the unversed, Mohammed Shami and Hasin Jahan had a bitter divorce, after the latter accused him of marital rape, match-fixing and domestic violence. Now, Hasin Jahan made a shocking statement and said that if Shami performs well for the country, then he will earn well. This will eventually help him to provide for her and their daughter, Aaira. Talking about how Shami's performance would secure her future, she said:
"Kuch bhi hai, accha perform kr rha hai, accha khelega, team main bana rahega, achha kamayega toh humara bhavishya secure rahega."
While the entire nation is heaping praises on Mohammed Shami, his ex-wife, Jahan, showed no interest in sending him best wishes for the remaining games. While giving her best wishes to the Indian cricket team in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023, she said:
"Main Team India ko best wishes dungi, jarur dungi, lekin use nahi dungi."

As soon as the video was shared on X (previously Twitter), netizens were shocked to listen to Hasin Jahan's statements. They flooded the post's comment section and expressed their opinions about the same. Reacting to the video, one user commented, "She proved 'A man is money making machine only'."
