Last year, cricketer, Mohammed Shami and his sour relationship with wife, Hasin Jahan made to the headlines of every leading tabloid. The entire nation was in shock when his wife accused him of multiple extra-marital affairs, adultery and domestic violence. On March 6, 2018, Hasin had posted a series of screenshots, which revealed her husband’s chat with various women. In an interview with ABP, the cricketer-wife had revealed, “I have posted is just the tip of an iceberg. Shami’s acts are far more heinous. He has relationships with multiple women. Everyone in their family used to torture me. His mother and brother used to abuse me. The tortures continued till 2-3 am in the morning. They even wanted to kill me.”
And after days of family drama, the year 2019 witnessed another episode of it! Yes, recently, Mohammed Shami’s wife created a ruckus at his house in Uttar Pradesh while he is away playing in the Indian Premier League. Hasin, who has levelled several serious allegations against her husband, reached at his house Sahaspur Ali Nagar village late at night and when her in-laws' asked her to leave, she locked herself and her daughter in a room. Later, the police were called in and when they failed to control the matter, they took Hasin into custody. However, Hasin’s side of the story is completely different as she told media personnels and stated, “I have come to my husband's house and I have every right to stay here. My in-laws are misbehaving with me and the police are supporting them. They should have arrested them but they are taking me to the police station.”
For those who don’t know, Hasin had filed an FIR against her cricketer-husband. While Mohammed has denied all the allegations, and had revealed in his twitter post, “Hi I'm Mohammad Shami. Ye jitna bhi news hamara personal life ke bare may chal raha hai, ye sab sarasar jhut hai, ye koi bahut bada humare khilap sajish hai or ye mujhe Badnam karne or mera game kharab karne ka kosis ki ja rahi hai (All this news about my personal life is false. This is a big conspiracy against me to dilute my image and my career.)”
Post the entire family drama, Shami’s coach, Badruddin, came out to support him and had expressed his views on ABP. He had shared, “Shami is a very shy person, used to always stay away from crowds. I know him and his family very well. His wife's accusation totally false. The couple should have sorted out the matter among themselves.
