On November 18, 2018, Aneri Vajani wished her ‘favourite co-star’, Mishkat Varma on his birthday. She shared an array of their photos together, and captioned them as, “Happiest Belated Birthday Mishkaattt!!!! A super big Hug to you And many many Girlfrnds to you! After Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, Mishkat Varma and Aneri Vajani reunited for the Bindass’ relationship-based show, Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Speaking about the same in a BollywoodLife interview, Aneri had stated, “We had great chemistry in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins but you’ll see a more intimate bonding on this show. Our scenes are very different and well-written. The story will appeal to youngsters. Working with Mishkat is always fun. We have a love-hate relationship. Mishkat Varma and Aneri Vajani have stood for each other through every thick and thin. Sometime back, Aneri was body-shamed for posting a picture of herself in lingerie and her social media post was soon flooded with mean and cheap comments. While Aneri captioned her post as, “When You Own Your Breath NoBody Steals Your Peace! Happy Yoya Day! #yoga day!”, haters trolled her with comments like, “u are soooooo thinnnn”, “Malnutritioned”, “anorexic” and much more.
Giving the perfect reply to the haters, Aneri Vajani later took to Twitter and had tweeted, “#MyLifeMyRules! Yes I posted a picha on Instagram! Sum liked it sum didn’t! But honestly whts wrong wid u ppl, if ur fat nd u post a picture the world has a problem if ur skinny nd u post sucha picha the world still has a problem! Guys if u have so much of issue ignore the picha! The picha is for me i posted it on my account! so take a chill pill bhagwaan ne shakal toh achi di hain Shayad toh baatein bhe achi kar liya karoo! Koe baat nah bhagwaan sab theek kar dega! Bus aapni soch tohh khud hi thik karni padegi! Dhanyawad!(sic)”
Even Mishkat Varma wrote a long message to slam the haters, “The amount of hatred this picture has evoked really surprises me..yes U guys can like the picture or not like the pics ..u can say what U feel like ..fair enough..but some comments are jus too disrespectful..and what surprises me is that a lot of girls have been commenting on the size of her breasts..why does the size of her boobs offend you so much?? U think someone like Aneri needs to resort to a post on Instagram to get attention..r u that stupid?? @vajanianeri is fully aware of her body and she has always been proud of it ..and this picture jus shows that..a lot of you hate this picture jus because U hate her guts..isn’t it?? Not liking the picture is ur choice but assassinating her body and laughing at it is jus bullshit man..
