Gone are the days when motherhood would bring along flabby post-pregnancy weight. B-town mommies have become an inspiration, who have maintained their fitness after embracing motherhood. Mira Rajput Kapoor managed to shed off that extra flab soon after giving birth to her firstborn, Misha Kapoor, with immense workout sessions and second time too, Mira is following the same regime to regain her fitness. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor welcomed parenthood again with the arrival of their little munchkin, Zain Kapoor on September 5, 2018. Embarking the journey of fitness, Mira has taken up ‘100 days of walking challenge’ and is often spotted after her gym sessions by the paparazzi. On February 4, 2019, guess who accompanied Mira to her ‘walk’?
Well, it was none other than her little ball of mush, Zain! Mira posted a glimpse of her ‘Day 14’ and wrote “Not just another walk in the park” atop it. We can see a glimpse of Junior Kapoor enjoying the view with mommy. Here’s the screenshot of the same:
On January 24, 2019, Misha too accompanied Mira to the beach and she had a gala time on her playdate with Abhishek Kapoor and Pragya Kapoor’s 3-year-old munchkin, Isaana. While Misha and Isaana enjoyed their time playing with sand, soaking in the sun, cuddling a puppy, their newborn siblings (Zain Kapoor and Shamsher Kapoor) played in their cribs. At the night of February 4, 2019, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor went out on a dinner date and were snapped by the shutterbugs. While Mira looked stunning in a black wrap around skirt which she paired with a quirkily printed shirt, Shahid was dressed in casuals. Soon after the birth of Zain Kapoor, Mira shared what is the greatest gift that a mother can give her baby and stated to Zoomtv.com, “I have spoken about the importance of feeding the baby in the past too. I was extremely religious with Misha and I am going to do the same with my newborn. It is the greatest gift you can give your baby.” She further added, “Also important is to sleep whenever the kids allow you to because that will no more be in your own hand.”
In a recent interview, Shahid revealed that his 5-month-old boy, Zain is a disciplined kid. He had shared, “Zain is a very disciplined baby, sleeps on time, gets up on time. Mira is a very sorted mom. So, no trouble this time." He further said, "The first time we had Misha we were very paranoid parents, so a lot of sleepless nights happened. So, I think we were a lot more settled this time. Honestly, this time I had no trouble. She [Mira] is very mature otherwise she wouldn't have been able to deal with all that has happened in her life.”
Shahid’s mother, Neelima Azeem revealed who kept Zain’s name, Shahid or Mira. She was quoted as saying, "Mira and Shahid decided it mutually. At the time of Misha's birth, Zain was decided. It was that it will be Misha if it is a girl (combination of Mira and Sasha) and if it is a boy, it will be Zain. Long back I had shared the name with Zain. I had told Shahid that I love 4 names- Shahid, Ishaan, Zain and Kaamraan.”
In a throwback interview with Filmfare, Shahid shared how coming back to Misha and Mira at home makes him happy. He had stated, "The one thing that puts a smile on my face regardless of what has happened in the day is my daughter Misha. Seeing my wife Mira and daughter after I come back makes me happy." Adding further, he said, "I try to read bedtime stories to Misha. We sing nursery rhymes together."
