There is one sister duo that can turn heads anytime any day and anywhere and it’s none other than the very gorgeous and super-stylish stunning beheno ki jodi, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor. They are each other’s best friends, partners in crime and support system. Each of them can vouch for the other whenever they need, and this can clearly be seen for the love and concern they have for each other.
There is something very interesting that happened recently. But before that, let us tell you, Kareena Kapoor Khan played muse to Shantanu and Nikhil as she walked in the closing look at Lakme Fashion Week 2019. Kareena slayed in her drop-dead look wearing a black gown, styled by Mohit Rai, make and hairdo by Mickey Contractor and Yianni Tsapatori, respectively. Talking about her elder sister Lolo, Kareena once stated, “She’s my older sister, but I think I kind of bully her sometimes. I fire her, and I also give her advice. But eventually, she’s the person I have grown up aspiring to be. Even the way she conducted herself back in the ’90s — she was a very private actor — was inspiring.”
Adding further, she said, “Her simplicity is her beauty and charm. That’s why, all her life, everyone around her has bullied her. But everyone who is a part of my life knows that if Lolo (Karisma’s pet name) has said something, then it’s like gospel truth for me. And what I admire the most is the dignity with which she has conducted her life, her career, and single-handedly brought up her children, despite a lot of media stress, in terms of her marriage”. In an interaction with PTI, Kareena had also once stated that Karisma is a blessing in her life. Kareena had remarked, “She is my sister and we are very close. I think she is more of a friend to me than just a family member. We share a great bond and she is a blessing in my life”. In the same interview when Karisma was asked if she is bothered about Kareena’s career and the fact that she has been rejecting many offers after marriage.
To this, the Zubeidaa actress had replied, “She is married and wants to pick and choose the work she is doing. It is completely her choice. She has been that kind of person.
