When it comes to modern-day ladies, they all make sure that they make their careers their priority. Married to Bollywood star, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput Kapoor also handles the family beautifully.
Mira Rajput Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor had an arranged marriage and the couple made us believe in the notion of parents selecting our partners. They had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Delhi on July 7, 2015. The duo had welcomed their little angel, Misha Kapoor on August 26, 2016. Misha had become a proud big sister on September 5, 2018, when Mira and Shahid had welcomed their little munchkin, Zain Kapoor. Mira Rajput Kapoor loves to share pictures with her kids and has been giving glimpses of them growing old. Yesterday (September 19, 2019), Mira took to her Instagram stories and shared a picture of her little lad, Zain Kapoor. Zain was looking dapper in his casual outfit. Atop the picture, Mira wrote, “Kanya Attitude Drake Feeling.” The same quote was written on Zain’s casual and cool grey-coloured t-shirt as well.
Zain Kapoor is a complete replica of his father, Shahid Kapoor. And, it’s not just we who are saying this, Shahid himself feels that his toddler is a mirror image of him. On August 20, 2019, Shahid had taken to his Instagram handle and shared his childhood photo and his son, Zain Kapoor's picture and had captioned it as “Spot the difference #likefatherlikeson." Shahid Kapoor has been fanboying his son, Zain Kapoor all day. Talking about the same, when Shahid appeared on the show, BFFs with Vogue- Season 3, he had said, “He is so good looking, I am fanboying him all day." The show's host, Neha Dhupia had further asked him, “Is it like a mini-me moment for you?" Shahid had denied it and said, "Not at all. He is way better looking than me. He has got (features from) both of us (Mira and me). Because he is a boy and he was born with a lot of hair, everybody thinks he looks similar to me, but actually, I think his features are a lot more like Mira's. He has got sharper features, which is nice for a boy and I think both of them are like a little bit of a mixture of both of us. But he is just really good looking." This year Raksha Bandhan was extra special for the Kapoor clan as it was the first time when Misha And Zain were celebrating the festival. Mira Rajput Kapoor had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared glimpses from their Rakhi celebrations. The one thing that had caught our attention was the Kapoor clan's twinning game. Misha was twinning with her mom and Zain with his father, Shahid.
Shahid Kapoor had once expressed his feeling about becoming a second-time daddy and said, “It’s completely different this time. I think we are calmer and more relaxed. Mira and I would be asking questions and having doubts. But this time around, we feel like veterans. We have done it once, so we can handle it this time around.” In another interaction, he had quipped, “Having a child is the most amazing feeling. And we are fortunate that we are having a second one so soon, so I feel happy and blessed about that. Family is always a big reason to work even harder. When you come back home to your family after work, it’s a great feeling.”
Recently, Zain Kapoor had turned one on September 5, 2019, and to celebrate his birthday, the Kapoor’s had hosted an intimate birthday bash. Mira Rajput Kapoor had taken to her Instagram stories and had shared screenshots from their handmade décor. Sharing the screenshot, Mira had written, “DIY Birthday Prep”, atop it.
