‘Zain Kapoor’ it is people! After making us wait for 2 days, Shahid Kapoor finally announced the name of his and Mira Rajput Kapoor’s newborn baby boy. 2-year-old, Misha Kapoor is now the ‘Big Sister’ of Zain Kapoor. Shahid tweeted the name of his newborn and wrote, “Zain Kapoor is here and we feel complete. Thank you for all the wishes and blessings. We are overjoyed and so grateful. Mira Rajput Kapoor gave birth to Zain Kapoor at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on September 5, 2018. The entire Kapoor clan including Pankaj Kapur, Neelima Azeem, Supriya Pathak, Ishaan Khatter, Sanah Kapoor including the little angel, Misha Kapoor visited the second-time-newbie-mommy and newborn baby in the hospital.
But not only the Kapoor khandaan, Mira’s mother Bela Rajput was also beside her daughter’s side while she was in the hospital. And on September 7, 2018, which is also Mira’s 24th birthday, her elder sister, brother-in-law and niece, too came to visit the birthday girl with a gift. Mira’s niece looks as stylish as Misha and did you notice the striking resemblance between the Rajput sisters? For one second, we thought it is Mira who is walking hand-in-hand with Misha.
Shahid had organised for the most unusual birthday cake for Mira, on which it's written, “Just Hatched, Happy Birthday Mother Hen”. The cake is made by Daffodils Creations, who captioned this yummylicious cake as, “This cake was a special gesture by #ShahidKapoor, as a double celebration was in order, the arrival of Jr. Kapoor & 2nd time Mommy #MiraKapoor 's Birthday!! As little time as we got to put this cake together, we hope it helped in making their Joyous day that much more Memorable. Mira Rajput Kapoor has been very active throughout her second pregnancy and has time and again shared her pregnancy woes with her fans. From equating her pregnancy walk with a duck, the ‘weird phase’ when her jeans won’t fit her anymore to her 2 am feelings, the fans loved her funny take on pregnancy.
Mira shared her pregnancy troubles when she delivered their firstborn Misha, and stated, “I had a tough pregnancy, I went to those 5 months of difficult times to bring my daughter in to this world, in fact both of us together (Shahid Kapoor and she). So now I want to spend every moment that I can with her and I think there is a set of responsibilities around my plate and I feel at my age I have a lot more energy, I have my future ahead of me, so I can finish all of my responsibility and I have nothing in my way. I can raise my daughter, I can be a good wife. Nothing will stop me after that. I love being at home, I love being a mother to my child, I wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with my child and rush off to work, why did I have her? She is not a puppy; I want to be there for her as a mother.”
When Mira was asked about her career choices and shared that she’ll decide after giving birth to their second child. Mira was quoted as saying, “Yes, I would love to work, especially in a field that is creatively stimulating, but also allows me time with family. Perhaps something with food or lifestyle. Shahid opened about his happiness and excitement on embracing fatherhood once again, and said, “Yes, of course. I'm very happy. We just felt like sharing it with everybody. Mira said she wanted to put it out on Instagram and I thought the photograph was really cute. It was a spontaneous decision and it just happened.” He further shared in another interview, “Having a child is the most amazing feeling. And we are fortunate that we are having a second one so soon, so [I am] feeling happy and blessed about that. Family is always a big reason to work even harder. When you come back home to your family [after work], it’s a great feeling.” He further added, “Now, we will have two to deal with so that’s an added responsibility. Till now, we have been parents to only one child but from hereon, it will be about balancing [time and effort]. Mira and I are very excited to discover that journey.”
