It was on July 7, 2015, when Shahid Kapoor had tied the knot with 21-year-old Delhi-based girl, Mira Rajput in an intimate Gurudwara wedding. At the age of 26, Mira has become the coolest mommy of her two adorable kids, Misha and Zain. Mira has been setting the bar for parenting quite high, and often gives glimpses of her kids' generosity and creative nature. From organising adorable birthday parties for her babies to celebrating every festival with them, Mira loves sharing glimpses of her mommy duties.

Mira Rajput Kapoor is very active on social media. A few months ago, in an 'AMA' session on her IG handle, a user had asked her about having a third child, and Mira had replied, "Hum do humare do." Another user had asked her about the theme of her kids' birthday parties, and she had revealed, "Misha's was unicorn meets peppa", and "Zains's can't be anything but construction."
On April 9, 2021, Mira Rajput took to her IG handle and shared video, revealing her ‘milennial mom fail’ moment with her son, Zain Kapoor. In the video, Mira was seen talking to her fans, saying, “Hey guys! So today when I was getting ready for my live, and could not find my makeup sponge. Guess where I found it?” She zoomed the camera to an inflatable swimming pool and picked up the sponge, half torn and quite dirty. She captioned the video as “#Kidshappen Has this happened to any of you or am I the only one? #millenialmomfail #sh*thappens.” On the video, her hubby, Shahid commented, “I am so happy he is filling in for me and keeping you entertained.” Shahid’s half brother, Ishaan too commented on the video and wrote, “Zuzah.”
On November 28, 2020, Mira Rajput Kapoor had taken to her IG handle and had shared a radiant picture in a white dress and had revealed who had chosen her outfit for the picture. In the picture, Mira could be seen wearing a white dress with asymmetrical noodle sleeves. She had completed her look with ruffled hair and antic earrings, leaving us in awe of her. Just when we were amazed by her beauty, a look at her caption had cleared that it was her son, Zain, who had decided this outfit for his mommy. Mira had shared that her picture is a proof that her son, Zain loves spider-man. Sharing the picture, Mira had written, “My baby boy loves Spider-Man you see.”

A few months back, Mira Rajput Kapoor had given a glimpse of the gift she had received from her two-year-old son, Zain Kapoor and had expressed her astonishment on receiving so much attention from ‘the otherwise papa-obsessed monsters’. Mira had posted an IG story of a flower given to her by Zain and had written, "Is today mother's day? Because I'm getting a lot of attention from the otherwise papa-obsessed monsters" atop it.
In the Vogue Wedding Book 2019, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor had talked about their roles as ‘Daddy Pig’ and ‘Mommy Pig’. Shahid had remarked, “For now it’s just Peppa Pig. We’re happy being ‘Mummy Pig’ and ‘Daddy Pig’.” When it comes to bringing up their kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, Shahid and Mira become a team. Roles are perfectly cut out as Mira is the disciplinarian and Shahid is the softy. Shahid had explained, “Our kids are the first two projects we actually did together. One year into an arranged marriage, when you haven’t spent enough time together [earlier], you really evolve around each other.”
