Television actress, Mahhi Vij considers her daughter, Tara Jay Bhanushali, the biggest gift of her life. Recently, Mahhi shared the first-ever picture with her then-newborn baby girl post her C-section delivery. A mother might not say it loud but the fact is that motherhood is the hardest job in the world. It is a 'forever role', which she prepares in the nine months of tenure. And Mahhi Vij is the perfect example of a super mommy.
On August 21, 2019, Mahhi Vij and her husband, Jay Bhanushali were blessed with a little angel, whom they had named, Tara. However, the duo is not new to parenthood as they have adopted their caretakers' kids, Khushi and Rajveer after seven years of their marriage.
On April 9, 2021, Mahhi took to her Instagram handle and shared the first-ever picture of her daughter, Tara from the delivery room. In the picture, we can see baby Tara in the arms of Mahhi while Jay was hugging the two. Alongside it, Mahhi narrated her C-section delivery story, and wrote, "Giving birth to a child is never easy and especially all the more challenging if you have a C-Section. On one end is a child you want to nurture and on the other is the pain that your body is going through due to the stitches and the not-so-natural form of delivery. But I feel everything that happens in life makes you stronger and we women are stronger than we know! To all the mothers out there who have given birth and that too the more difficult way, remember its all worth it when we look at our child, the greatest blessing in disguise! Celebrate motherhood because I know for me its life’s greatest gift!"
Mahhi Vij often becomes a target of trollers. On April 28, 2020, Mahhi had narrated her body-shaming experience. She had posted a picture with her daughter, Tara and had written, "Let’s get one thing straight, Body-shaming someone is never OK, even if the target is a public figure. However, despite the fact that this should be a universal rule of decorum, people are still prone to criticizing the appearances of others, including those of new moms. Even after my delivery people used to come to me and say things like you’d look gorgeous if you put down some weight! All I would say, don’t let these comments take a toll on you.. just eat right and let your body heal because you have just delivered a human out of your body!"
In her long note, Mahhi had also revealed about her C-section scar which she is proud of, "Love your body just the way it is.. I know it might bother you.. but it’s ok..you are beautiful just the way you are, with or without stretch marks or pregnancy scars. I have a c-section scar in my body and I’m proud of it. All we need is for someone to tell us we are doing great and we look okay. After all growing a baby, carrying them for nine months and then giving birth is the biggest change in a women's life and she needs all the kindness, power and positivity around her she can get."
Well, we loved Tara's picture from the delivery room! What about you?
