Well, amid this, Megan's ex, Pardison Fontaine shared a post on social media, which featured a non-instrumental version of Jagged Edge’s 1999 track, He Can’t Love U. While he didn't name anyone directly, the lyrics seemed to have struck a chord with the fans, who commented that he should get his girl back. The lyrics speak volumes about a man's love for his woman, proudly claiming no one can love her as he did. While it's a common thing that people use social media to post, the lyrics, the timing, and the situation made this post quite a bit of the centre of attention. The lyrics could be read as:

"You should never wanna be with a man if he can’t be a man and do the things to you like I can. I’m telling you, he can’t love you like I love you.”

Speaking of Megan Thee Stallion and Pardison Fonatine, they started dating in 2021, and they have been together for two years. The couple parted ways in 2023, and no official cause for the same was given. Later, Megan released a song in which she spoke about being cheated on. Later, Pardison Fonatine was also asked about the same, and he said that if hiding texts is a form of cheating, he had done this. According to PEOPLE, he said:

"Is hiding text messages cheating on your partner? In that regard, I say [I cheated]. Inappropriate, correct."
