Laura Ingraham is a prominent American conservative television presenter, political commentator, and author. She is best known as the host of her prime-time program, The Ingraham Angle on Fox News Channel, which has been running since October 2017. She was once romantically linked to the late US Senator Lindsey Graham, and the rumoured relationship generated immense buzz as both individuals were well-known in their respective fields.
Laura was born on June 19, 1963, in Glastonbury, Connecticut, United States, and is 63 years old as of 2026, making her eight years younger than Lindsey. Laura has had an illustrious career so far, having hosted the radio program The Laura Ingraham Show for nearly two decades (2001–2018). It was a highly popular, nationally syndicated political talk radio show. She also ventured into entrepreneurship, serving as the co-founder and editor-in-chief of the conservative lifestyle and political news website LifeZette.
Regarding Laura Ingraham's romance buzz with Lindsey Graham, the duo were rumoured to have briefly dated in 1999. Media reports at that time noted that they were seen acting affectionately in public shortly after former President Bill Clinton's impeachment trial in February 1999. Back then, Lindsey was a 44-year-old rising political figure serving as a House manager and the host of MSNBC's Watch It! Neither party officially confirmed the relationship, and the dating buzz died down in a year.

Lindsey Graham, who was known as a lifelong bachelor, was not unfamiliar with the taste of romance. He dated a few women in his youth, but none lasted. As per his memoir My Story, he had a girlfriend named Debbie while in law school. Lindsey also mentioned dating two more women during his Air Force posting at Rhein-Main Air Base in Frankfurt, Germany, from 1984 to 1988. They were a JAG officer named Carol, who later served on Colin Powell's staff, and another woman named Sylvia.
Sylvia was the only one Lindsey Graham had been deeply involved with and even considered spending the rest of his life with. She was a German Lufthansa flight attendant of Hungarian descent, whom the US Senator met during his late 20s. The duo became acquainted after the woman she was living with married Lindsey's roommate. It was pure fate that the two of them met and fell for each other. He wrote in his memoir that their relationship became "serious quickly" and that they almost got married.
However, after a year-long courtship, Lindsey and Sylvia parted ways due to their differing priorities. She couldn't leave Germany for her ailing mother, and he had to go back to South Carolina, as his entire life was there. He stated:
"I am a South Carolina boy who needed to go home...Her mother was elderly, and I wasn't going to stay in Germany. I didn't think she wanted to come back to South Carolina."
After his split from Sylvia, Lindsey Graham realised that marriage was a difficult deal for him because of his political career and family circumstances. At age 21, he became the legal guardian of his 13-year-old sister, Darline, after both of their parents died within 15 months. Additionally, he felt that "the right girl" didn't have time for him, and those who did weren't his perfect match. Hence, he remained single until his death at 71.
