Meera Chopra and Rakshit Kejriwal will get tie the nuptial bond on March 12, 2024, in an intimate destination wedding in Jaipur. The duo’s wedding invite has already circulated on the internet, and one glimpse of it simply proves the elaborate arrangements that has been made to mark the celebrations memorable. And now, a recent report by India Today revealed the guest list for the same. As per it, instead of Meera’s cousin, Priyanka Chopra joining in the celebrations, it would be the latter’s mom, Madhu Chopra, who would be a part of Meera’s big day. The report revealed:
“Meera has invited her friends from the industry who are more like her family. Her aunt Madhu Chopra, with whom she is very close, will definitely be there to bless her.”

Apart from close family members and friends of Meera Chopra attending her wedding celebrations in Jaipur, the actress has also taken a keen note of inviting several big names from the film industry, especially those with whom she has worked extensively. These included filmmakers, Madhur Bhandarkar, Jayantilal Gada, Anand Pandit and others. The report further claimed:
“Of course, the intimate wedding will be attended by close friends and relatives of the Chopra family but some film industry bigwigs, with whom Meera has worked, will also be there. Anand Pandit, Kumar Mangat, Jayantilal Gada, Sandeep Singh, Madhur Bhandarkar, Arjun Bajwa, and Gaurav Chopra will be attending the ceremony too.”

The couple will enjoy a two-day long pre-wedding celebrations, followed by their grand wedding on March 13, 2024. The wedding destination had been zeroed down at the Buena Vista Luxury Garden Spa Resort in the pink city, Jaipur. Meera and Rakshit will follow the traditional haldi, mehendi and sangeet rituals, clubbed with a cocktail party. Later on, the duo will have a gala dinner and reception post-wedding.

Previously, in an interaction with Siddharth Kannan, Meera Chopra opened up about her equations with her cousins, Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. She clearly mentioned that the three of them have had distant connections with one another right from the beginning. She further added that it wouldn’t be wise pretending that they were good friends, while the reality was far from different. In her words:
“From the start, there was not much closeness between us that we would look like friends here. That would be fake. But I can say that when three or four girls join the industry, they help each other. That did not happen to me. I'm not the one that asks for help, and even they never offered any help.”
