Bollywood actress, Manisha Koirala's life is every bit filmy. Being born and raised in one of the most influential families in Nepal, Manisha went on to make her Bollywood debut with Subhash Ghai's film, Saudagar, in 1991. Since then, the actress has never looked back and has worked with the biggest actors during that time. However, Manisha had a very quick downfall in her career as well as her personal life, after which she decided to move back to Nepal. Later, Manisha experienced a rollercoaster ride of emotions and finally got back to the movies again.
Recently, a throwback video of Manisha Koirala surfaced on Reddit, wherein the actress was spotted in a drunken state. The actress was spotted outside a restaurant, and she can be seen dressed in a white top and matching pants. Manisha accessorised her look with a pair of sunglasses and also carried a sling bag. The diva looked quite tired, and she politely asked the paps not to click her pictures. However, the media even went on to ask questions to her, while forcibly capturing her in a drunken state. Alongside the video, the user penned a note, which can be read as:
"Throwback to when media forcibly captured a drunken Manisha Koirala though she was still polite to them. Apparently, they wanted to make headlines that she was drunk. She also says she can't lie much and is not happy in her married life."

During her interaction with the media, Manisha Koirala opened up about her life back then. The actress was asked if she was going to make her come back to Bollywood and produce a movie. To which, Manisha said that all those rumours were untrue. However, she went on to add that she was leading a blessed life and was really happy. In her words:
"Ji Nahi. Main Nepal me hu abhi. Jo kuchh bhi aapne suna ki mai Bombay vapis aake acting career start karungi, wo kuchh sahi nahi hai. I will only say one thing, I am living a very good life, and I'm in a place where I can see how blessed my life has been. With India and Nepal becoming the closest friends, I'm in a very blessed situation."
The actress looked visibly content with her life, and her response to the queries was proof of the same. However, Manisha's tone changed when a reporter asked her how her married life was going on. The actress was heard saying:
"Yes and no. I can't lie too much."

Manisha Koirala had dated quite a few men during her time in Bollywood, as everyone was smitten by her beauty. However, in 2010, Manisha married a fellow Nepali businessman, Samrat Dahal. For the unversed, Manisha had met Samrat on Facebook, and after a series of conversations, the two had fallen in love with each other. Unfortunately, their marital bliss was short-lived, and the couple got divorced two years later.
Once upon a time, stories of Manisha Koirala's drinking became unbearable, but she took the accusation of alcoholism surprisingly well. In a throwback interview with Hindustan Times, Manisha Koirala spoke about her descent into alcohol addiction and revealed how did that happen. Talking about the same, she revealed that alcohol is no taboo at her home, but she forgot her limits as she thought that alcohol was helping her deal with difficult times. She said:
"It seeped into my life and I did not realize that it would put my life upside down. If it’s tough, then let it be tough because I want people to realize that it’s not really a great path. We start alcohol by thinking it's helping, but that’s really not the solution. In life, be it relationships or alcohol, we need to be the master of the situation and not the victim. My friends and family drink, my father drinks sometimes, so there’s no taboo as such. But you need to know your limits so that you don’t flip and start going on a downhill journey."
