Global diva, Priyanka Chopra is currently busy promoting her upcoming web show, Citadel, with her co-star, Richard Madden. The desi girl is in India, and yet she's on a promotional spree and fulfilling her work commitments to the fullest. While Priyanka is occupied with her professional tasks, her mother, Dr Madhu Chopra has been looking after her baby girl, Malti.
On April 4, 2023, Dr Madhu Chopra took to her IG stories and shared a super cute picture with her granddaughter, Malti. The picture showed the duo looking at each other and sharing a candid moment together. Madhu was seen holding Malti in her arms, who looked cute in a white-hued printed frock paired with a floral hairband. The little munchkin was also seen flaunting her tiny earrings.

During a press conference, while promoting her web series, Citadel, Priyanka Chopra opened up about her daughter, Malti’s food habits and revealed that her baby girl might look like her father, Nick Jonas, but she is a real Chopra. Talking about the same, the loving mommy added that Malti loves Indian food, especially matar paneer and biryani. PeeCee also shared that just like the Chopras, her little one also loves spicy chatpata food.
In an interview with The Indian Express, Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Dr Madhu Chopra opened up about Malti and shared that she was overwhelmed to learn that her granddaughter was named after her. Madhu also revealed that she and her damad had shared their duties as while she gave massages to her grandchild, Malti, Nick bathed her and changed her diapers. Talking about how she had made Nick’s dad follow the Indian rituals while naming their grandchild, Malti, Madhu said:
“In our tradition, the paternal grandfather whispers the name, along with words of wisdom, into the baby’s ears. Nick’s dad did those rituals. I give a massage and Nick gives her a bath and changes her diapers.”
On March 31, 2023, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas along with their baby girl, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas arrived in India. We had stumbled upon a few pictures of the adorable family as they landed in India for the first time after Malti's arrival. In the pictures, the little one was seen dressed in a white-hued frock with blue stripes all over it. Her short dress featured ruffled sleeves and a round neckline. Malti looked amazed as she saw a lot of people gathered outside the airport and paps pointing their cameras at her to click lovely pictures.
