But Karan Johar's good friend, Malaika Arora has shared a glimpse of the birthday twins in their traditional avatars. Sharing the following pic on her Instagram stories, Malaika wished the little munchkins a very happy birthday. In the pic, as you can see, Yash is clad in a shirt paired with a veshti and Roohi has donned a Madrasi lehenga. Take a look:

Karan's bestie, Neha Dhupia earlier shared an adorable birthday message on behalf of her baby girl, Mehr. She wrote, “#happybirthday my dearest Roohi and Yash ... I still remember the first time we met and both of you screamed out loud ... “bbbbaaaaabbbbbyyyyyy”.... On Yash and Roohi's second birthday, Karan Joha has planned to throw a lavish party for all the celebrity kids. As per reports, Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son Taimur, Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput Kapoor’s daughter Misha, Rani Mukerji-Aditya Chopra’s daughter Adira, Soha Ali Khan and Kuna Kemmu’s daughter Inaaya, Tusshar’s son Laksshya and Aayush Sharma-Arpita Khan Sharma’s son Ahil are going to attend the evening birthday party of Yash and Roohi.
Post Yash and Roohi's birth, there were rumours that Karan is going to take a sabbatical from work. Refuting such rumours, a source had shared "He isn’t taking any break. Karan is going to be everywhere, doing everything he loves doing." Karan had also once stated, "My babies are beautiful, and I have all the time in the world for them. They’re my lifelines and the reason for me to go into the 2.0 version of my life. But work is also a big part of who I am, and creating Dharma Productions, and taking it to a higher level is pretty much a big dream I have."
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Karan was asked if being a father to Yash and Roohi has changed him over a year, to which he had retorted, "Well, it hasn't changed me, it just made me happier. If that's a change, then that's a welcome change. I’m just happier and much more satisfied with my existence." He further added, “It's given me a big reason to live with a certain amount of energy and vigour for the next three decades of my life.
