Malaika Arora is one of the fittest and hottest divas in Tinseltown. She has been in the entertainment industry for almost three decades now. Now, she is frequently seen as a host or judge on various television shows. On the personal front, Malaika fell in love with actor, Arbaaz Khan in her early 20s, and soon, they got married. However, after 19 years of marriage, the couple parted ways.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Malaika Arora spilled the beans on why she decided to get married at the age of 25 and revealed that she did not face any pressure from her family. She added that she thought that it was the best option for her back then, so she decided to take the plunge. Malaika said:
“Not that I have grown up in a background where I was told ‘oh you have to get married at this age’. I was told to live my life, go out enjoy, meet more people, and have more relationships, I was told all of that. Yet, I don’t know what got into my head, I said by 22-23 I want to get married. No one forced me, but it was what I needed to do right now because it was the best option I had at that moment.”

However, Malaika added that after being married for some years, she realised that she wanted something else in life. She wished to have a space for her son, Arhaan to flourish and wanted to make him happy. Malaika added that she wanted to feel settled and happy and said:
“When I decided to get divorced, I don’t think there were too many women in the industry getting divorced and moving on. I felt, for me, for my personal growth, my choice, I had to feel okay within if I had to make my kid happy and make my kid flourish in his space. So, that’s what I did. Everyone looks down upon divorce but for me, I had to feel settled and happy to make anyone around me happy. It starts with me.”
There is no denying that the 50-year-old actress is a favourite of the paparazzi. In the same interview, she shared an incident where a publication revealed the cost of her outfit and gave nasty remarks. Recalling the ridiculous incident, she said:
“Somebody decided to carry a ridiculous article about something that I was wearing as to how expensive it is and they said, ‘Clearly she can afford it because she got a fat alimony’ and I was aghast. Whatever you have done life whatever level, it makes no difference.”

Currently, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are one of the most loved couples in Tinseltown. As Malaika appeared on the famous dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 13, she sat down in a conversation with Farah Khan. When the producer asked Malaika about the possibility of seeing her tying the knot in 2024, the latter gave an interesting answer. She said:
"Agar koi hai toh usse main shaadi karungi. Koi bhi poochega to main shaadi karlungi."
Malaika Arora's answer grabbed many eyeballs, and netizens started speculating about her and Arjun Kapoor's breakup. While some netizens questioned whether she is still dating Arjun, others speculated about their alleged broken relationship. Meanwhile, a section of netizens also claimed that since the couple has been in a live-in relationship, they should tie the knot now.
