Shah Rukh Khan has been grabbing all the limelight currently, as his much-awaited film, Jawan, was released on September 7, 2023. The actor, who earlier gave a power-packed performance in his film, Pathaan, has once again wooed everyone with his acting mettle. From audiences to critics and celebrities, every ardent fan of SRK has been rushing to the theatres to watch King Khan on the big screen. And the latest ones to join the bandwagon were filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt and his wife, Soni Razdan.
On September 11, 2023, Mahesh Bhatt and his wife, Soni Razdan stepped out for a movie date and made their way to a theatre to watch Shah Rukh Khan’s film, Jawan. A video of the duo exiting the theatre surfaced on the internet, wherein they looked stunning in their respective casual ensembles. In the video, Mahesh and Soni were asked to share a review of the film by the paparazzi, and the latter said that she loved the film. On the other hand, Mahesh Bhatt said:
“Aisi lagi jaise pure Hindustan ko, puri duniya ko lag rahi hai."

While Mahesh and Soni's review was enough to know about the impressive performance of SRK in the film, the paparazzi tried to urge the filmmaker to share more. However, it looked like the duo wanted to leave the venue as soon as possible. As Mahesh was seen struggling to locate his car, the paparazzi seemingly blocked his path and continued to probe about the film. The filmmaker got irked and annoyingly said:
“Arre bhai, chal na."

Meanwhile, Soni Razdan also took to her X (previously known as Twitter) handle and shared a selfie with her husband, Mahesh Bhatt as they enjoyed the movie inside the theatre. Alongside the picture, she penned a note and revealed that they had stepped out on a movie date after many years. She also heaped praises on Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee and mentioned that their new release is fabulous. Her note can be read as:
“It took @iamsrk and #Jawaan to get the both of us out on a movie date night after I don’t know how many years ! And what a fabulous film - mind is blown, is happy. @Atlee_dir wow Sir. Shah Rukh Khan gets more amazing with each film. Huge congratulations all round."

Talking about Shah Rukh Khan’s film, Jawan's box office collection, the film has become a huge success and has emerged at the top with flying colours. Directed by Atlee, the film collected Rs. 30 crores on day 4 at the box office in India and is expected to surpass a total of Rs. 300 crores in India as of September 12, 2023. For the unversed, Jawan boasts of a stellar star cast, and apart from SRK, it also features Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupati, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Riddhi Dogra among others.
