Mahesh Bhatt made a rare appearance for the screening of his daughter, Alia Bhatt's upcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. However, right after the screening, he was asked about his first daughter from his first marriage, Pooja Bhatt's performance in the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT-2. To everyone's surprise, Mahesh Bhatt simply ignored the question and shared that he is Alia's fan. The video instantly made rounds on the internet, and netizens brutally trolled Mahesh Bhatt for his partiality.
In a video shared by Pinkvilla, Mahesh Bhatt was seen leaving with his second wife, Soni Razdan, when a paparazzo asked him about Pooja Bhatt's performance in the reality show. When he ignored the question, the paparazzo said they are fans of Pooja Bhatt. To this, Mahesh replied:
"Main abhi Alia Bhatt ka fan hu."

As soon as the video was uploaded, netizens found Mahesh Bhatt extremely rude. One user wrote, "Why this discrimination in-between two own daughters." Another commented, "Dat is why pooja bhatt aisi h ..jab father itna difference karnge to bache irritating ho hi jaynge." One of the netizens also penned, "How rude mahesh bhatt we dont like this answer pooja kaagy Alia is nothing."
