Mackenzie Shirilla's Prison GF, Gypsy Spills The Beans About Former Getting 'Hickeys' Behind Bars

Mackenzie Shirilla’s double homicide case has been dominating the headlines since Netflix premiered the documentary, The Crash. Mackenzie was convicted of killing her boyfriend, Dominic Russo and their friend, Davion Flanagan, when she was 17. According to reports, Mackenzie was driving home from a gathering with friends with Dominic and Davion, when her Toyota Camry crashed into a brick wall in Strongsville, Ohio, at around 100 mph. Now, Mackenzie’s prison girlfriend, Gypsy Rose Blanchard, spilt the beans about the former kissing her inmates.

Recently, Gypsy Rose Blanchard sat for a candid conversation with TMZ’s Charlie Neff on The TMZ Podcast. Reacting to Mackenzie having hookups and getting hickeys behind bars, Gypsy said that it was quite normal, as kissing a woman inside the prison is the best way to pass the time. Speaking about Mackenzie, Gypsy mentioned that having girlfriends in prison may help her to deal with boredom, but she thinks Mackenzie needs guidance more than romantic relationships. 

Gypsy believes that it would be helpful for Mackenzie if an older inmate mentored her and helped her mature. Recalling her days in prison, Gypsy stated that she was mentored by some older inmates and she also kissed women, but none of them was serious. She added that Mackenzie’s romantic relationships inside jail seem like a not-so-serious relationship.

Mackenzie Shirilla had multiple affairs in prison, claims her former inmate

A few days back, Mackenzie’s former inmate, a 27-year-old woman named Mary Katherine Crowder, sat for an interview with The New York Post. Mary claimed that Mackenzie had had multiple girlfriends and frequently displayed hickeys inside jail. According to Mary, Mackenzie dolled up in cute outfits and makeup behind bars and slept with multiple inmates. Speaking about the following, Mary said in one of her TikTok videos:

"Mackenzie has had multiple girlfriends...She was walking around with hickies on her neck. If she was grieving or remorseful, she would not have gone to prison and jumped into prison relationships over the next six months."

Did Mackenzie Shirilla reportedly use Sugar Daddy sites behind bars?

A few days back, in an interview with TMZ, Mackenzie’s ex-inmate, Mary Katherine Crowder, made some explosive claims about her. During the interview, Mary claimed that Mackenzie used some sort of 'Sugar Daddy' website to fund her lifestyle inside jail. Mary admitted that she doesn’t think that Mackenzie was using these sites anymore, as many people have come to know about them. She was quoted as saying:

"She was on these like 'sugar daddy' for inmates' websites, which they're not advertised as sugar daddy, but that's what we call them inside. She is no longer on them because I think people have kind of found out it's not a good look, obviously. So, I wouldn't be surprised if she got a lot of traction from them because she was on there."

Mackenzie Shirilla and his family claim that she has no memory of the fatal crash

While Mackenzie had a narrow escape and survived the fatal crash, her boyfriend, Dominic and their friend, Davion, died on the spot. After surviving the crash, Mackenzie told police and others that she could not remember what happened. In fact, Mackenzie’s mother also chimed in about the following during her trial. A few days back, Mackenzie’s text to her boyfriend, Dominic’s mom, surfaced. In the text, Mackenzie stated that she would try hypnosis to recover her lost memories.
