The word Cancer, which was once used as a zodiac sign has acquired a prominent place in our lives. There was a time when it was a rare disease but now, the scenario is completely different as the deadly disease has become a common one. When actor, Sanjay Dutt had announced the news of him being diagnosed with cancer, his fans were heartbroken and everyone had prayed for his speedy recovery. And, as they say, God only tests his strongest soldiers, Sanjay had battled cancer and had come out victorious. On the birthday of his twins, Shahraan and Iqra, Sanjay had released the official statement and had shared that he had defeated cancer. His statement could be read as "The last few weeks were very difficult time for my family and me. But like they say, God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. And today, on the occasion of my kids’ birthday, I am happy to come out victorious from this battle and be able to give them the best gift I can- the health and well being of our family. This wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering faith and support from all of you. I am eternally grateful to my family, friends and all the fans who have stood by me and been my source of strength through this trying time. Thank you for the love, kindness and the countless blessings that you have sent my way."
On October 21, 2020, Sanjay Dutt and Maanayata’s kids, Shahraan and Iqra had turned 10 and the doting mommy shared glimpses of their birthday celebrations. But it seems like the celebrations are yet not over for the twins this time as their father had come out victorious in his battle against cancer. A few hours back, Maanayata shared some pictures of Shahraan and Iqra cutting their birthday cake on her IG stories. While Shahraan donned a red T-shirt, Iqra looked pretty in a golden dress and the doting mommy, Maanayata looked stunning in a floral dress. Amidst the backdrop of balloons and goodies, Maanayata shared a picture of their cakes with “Happy Birthday Twins” and “Happy Birthday Iqra Shahraan” written on them.
When their twins, Shahraan and Iqra turned 10, Maanayata Dutt had taken to her Instagram stories and had shared pictures from her kids' 10th birthday celebrations. In the pictures, we could see Maanayata twinning with her kids in yellow. In one of the pictures, we could see Shahraan blowing the candles. She had also taken to her Instagram handle and had shared an adorable wish for her kids on their tenth birthday. And the serenity to make the right decisions... Seeing you grow into beautiful, wise children has made my life easy and blissful... On September 18, 2020, Maanayata had taken to her IG handle and had shared a complete picture of her family. In the picture, Sanjay was seen posing with Maanayata and their kids. Along with the picture, Maanayata had written how blessed she feels to have a family. Her note could be read as “Today...I want to thank God for the gift of family.
